a full tree is only 4 skillpoints.. it wouldn't have to do much to make it worth the points

No, just really lucky. Which if you're playing SWG, you have to be FS to get, so...

That means for every 1 Slicing XP you get 1 FS Senses XP.
For every 15000 Slicing XP, you get 1000 FS Senses XP.
You need 1,275,000 FS Senses XP to get the Senses Novice box and 1 full line (Persuasion, for example).
That means you need 1,275,000 * 15 = 19,125,000 Slicing XP to get the Senses Novice box and 1 full line.
That is 191.25 full loads of our 100,000XP cap on Slicing XP.
That is 76,500 weapon/armor slices.
That is 6,885,000 Copper for Clamps, 244,800 Copper for Laser Knives, 1,530,000 Metal and 765,000 Chemical for WUK/AUKs.
That is 9,424,800 units of resources (not counting the weapons/armor), which at 3cpu would cost 28,274,400 credits, or a whole lot of harvesting.
That is 1 broken mouse, 1 damaged hand/wrist, and 1 type of XP that is probably not going to be exchanged very much at this ratio.

Which book/whatever is this in? Really does something to the Han Solo character in my mind, not sure I like it.
Of course it makes a point against all the people on the SWG forums complaining that there will be so many FS characters if so many of the original Star Wars characters end up being FS. Maybe there are more FS people in the galaxy than we're let in on, so it's not so rare as it seems.

It is good that they have listened to us but 15-1 is pretty worthless compared to many of the others in that line. Shows how little the DEVs understand this class or play it. We need to be at least on par with medical exp. But as it is now still using loop macros and tumbling medical exp faster to gain with little used in doing so. Heck, scouting exp needs to be 15-1, come on, that is even at lvl 4 hunting and with decent combat skills much faster exp wise then slicing exp could ever be. At least they are listening to us, not if they will just open their eyes and look at us and our skills so they know what the ratio should be then we will be set.

Ok while I've read the HST I never bothered with any others, with that said this is what Ive been told :
Years after Return of the Jedi, Luke falls victim to the dark side and Lea and Han (who at this time learns he is FS) make littleSolo's who are very FS and grow upto take the evil Luke out. How accurate this is I have no idea (please someone confirm or rebut this). I have no idea which book its in but my sourse seems trust worthy. That story lineseems a little silly so I never bothered to follow up with any of those books.

Well when the patch first came out there wasn't any slicing xp conversion just spice crafting so I figure anything that actually gives us something to use our xp on is good.

Han Solo is not FS. I've read every SW book published (well official novels at least) It is never mentioend that he is FS and there are tons of occurances where he specifically mentions feeling out of place as a "normal" in a family full of jedi. In fact it is one of the dynamics of the family that make it unique. There are also multipel times when jedi are sensing all FS i nan area and Han is never mentioned as one of them.
