Ok...I finished up my spreadsheet and shot it off to Caylin to see if he would host it...basically replacing the one he put together and that's already linked in the Important Links sticky.
If he can't host it, or I don't hear from him tomorrow, I'll look into finding someplace to host it myself this weekend.
It will be a VERY handy tool.
along the same lines, i see actnjcksn wrote the faction point calc, is that someone here on the forums or what? can we get in touch with them and get them to update the delegate ratios?
i know its not a big difference, but it would still be nice to have an updated version.
id love to write my own calc, but i dont know anything about programming.
*EDIT*
i just got the new spreadsheet, its just damn cool.
excellent work boys and girls.

Ok this is what I've done. I have Dreven's new spreadsheet and I've hosted it on what space I have.
Same place as the one I used to have up there, so the important link sticky will still point at the right location. I no longer maintain the important links, so that will be up to Wes. All he will need to change isthe credit to Dreven as the author, that's about it.

For those unable to read the important links sticky
what's a sticky and does it help get 35% slices?
Tig whaps Kenney for trolling
It's getting late I'm getting a little crazy. Good work guys
faction *perk* costs will change from planet to planet depending on who has the uppoer hand on that planet.

sorry im kinda slow, so will I ever be able to buy things at the "base" fp cost?an at-st for 5.02kfp at master smuggler?
The short answer is "not likely"...
However, if the Rebels were winning a planet...say...100-1...you'd see the base price...
Play around with the Imperial / Rebel numbers in the yellow box on that spreadsheet. The larger the margin, the cheaper stuff is for the losing side. And the closer the score, the closer things get in price.

yeah but whats to stop you from going t a planet where you are loosing and buy faction perks there? makes sense to me....
You mean you aren't doing this already?
Of course, it doesn't work, and I end up paying full cost for perks. But that's the intention.

Imperials don't get extra faction when we buy or earn it. We get the 30% discount on perks.

GAH! Ok Ok OK...
Butit doesn'tmatterwhois winning the GCW on the planet that you're buying raw faction points from, correct?
As a Rebel Colonel, it wouldn't matter if I bought faction on an Imperial controlled planet or a Rebel controlled planet because the faction points would cost the same everywhere? I am not referring to faction perks or items, just the regular, raw faction points.

Exactly, NickHeel. For faction points purchase, it work as it was working before that last patch: only factor is who won CoA on your server.
For faction PERKS perchase, the planet control system count.
mmmm Since as Dreven say, the worse you lose, the cheaper the perks... We factionned Smugglers will have a lot of interest in knowing how the war is going. Going to the planet we are getting our teeths kicked in the worse to buy perks.
