As a Rebel Colonel, it wouldn't matter if I bought faction on an Imperial controlled planet or a Rebel controlled planet because the faction points would cost the same everywhere? I am not referring to faction perks or items, just the regular, raw faction points.

Exactly, NickHeel. For faction points purchase, it work as it was working before that last patch: only factor is who won CoA on your server.

For faction PERKS perchase, the planet control system count.

mmmm Since as Dreven say, the worse you lose, the cheaper the perks... We factionned Smugglers will have a lot of interest in knowing how the war is going. Going to the planet we are getting our teeths kicked in the worse to buy perks. Can be interesting hehehe

well i think thats exactly the point they want you to go there and buy cheap faction perks, so you can get ganked by the winning side otherwise people would never leave their planets now would they?
