No I do NOT give up.

Yea verily, I may not BE a Master Smuggler but I scratch and claw my way to the title every time I log on.
We will make Smuggler all it is meant to be and we will not rest until then.

...we just gotta figure out another way to get the attention we need.

Well I've not given up, I'm preparing for the summit that is upcoming.

When that is done, I'll see where I go from there. It's more of a 'conserve energy' approach for the main event.

It just feels like anything we do right now are spinning our wheels...

Will you take a gun...it seems like simple negotiating isn't working

You know, I was thinking about this last night as I was trying to get to sleep. I have a master smuggler/master medic/pistoleer0004/doctor0003 on one server and a master smuggler/master pistoleer/master marksman on another. I was considering dropping all but the dirty fighting line of smuggler on the second server so I could get novice BH and get eyeshot, get the ability to target the mind pool with a pistol and some speed and accuracy bonuses.

I can't do it. I love being a smuggler - well, love the potential of what the class can be. And to drop it seems too much like acknowledging that we are going to get nothing ever. And as pessimistic as I am (I am so far beyond the glass being half empty its not even funny - more like "HEY! Whole stole my damn drink??") I refuse to give into that - it feels like I am letting the devs and the decision makers at SOE win if I give it up. Not about to do that.

Well, I haven't given up. I have dropped my Smuggler though. I'll always be a Smuggler at heart, but the incarnation of Smuggler in this game, and the way in which we have thus far been treated, just is not fun for me. I'm still around, and I'll still fight for the profession to be what it should be, but at this point I'm mostly lurking here, saying something every once in a while.

After all, I did state before I would never quit fighting

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.
