Thread: Have we given up?

I see the level of communication here has dropped. The devs say that they will increase communication and they do...briefly.
I know that they are busy, but I see this lack of action and it conveys to me 'why bother?' ...
I am still a Smuggler, but this lack of action pushes more and more towards not caring if I am a Smuggler.
I have looked forward towards Jedi for a long time, and even figured out that I could have Master Lightsaber and Force Healing 0200 (to fix me up after getting beated up while FD) ... but the longer this goes, the more inclined I am to give up Smuggler entirely.
/signed Frustrated Smuggler that doesn't smuggle and gets all specials nerfed.

Or something like that. I'm just as frustrated as anyone that our profession has been treated like it has been. There's no reason for such treatment as we've been given, but we can't give up. We'll see our day, it just may take awhile to get there. In the meantime, still will I remain a Master Smuggler, for if we all give up Smuggler, who then will fight for our profession, and should there be no more Smugglers, will there then be any demand for a proper revamp?

Until things are fixed I'm going to feign death in PVP every chance I get. Hate me, I don't care. I suggest you do the same though. I find myself going overt, putting the feign macro on, and leaving my computer for hours often.

The bell has just rung ending round 1. I'm in mycorner getting ready for round 2.
On my pallet is covert fences for smugglers and getting the crafting of spices moved out of smuggler.

When I was a kid my friends always made me be Luke (i was the only blonde in the group) and all I ever wanted was to be Han even one time. Now that I'm all grown up and playing SWG's i get to be Han (a smuggler) and my toon even has black hair....... repressed anger from being a kid?...... Maybe, Smuggler for life.....for sure!

What ever they have in store for smuggler, I will keep it and wear my master tag with pride until they shut the servers down for good.

This is what really makes me mad about the whole thing...
No, we haven't given up. There are a lot of smugglers still out there. Name another profession that is messed up as bad as this one that has this many people sticking with it. Squad leader? Creature handler? Carbineer?
No. We still love to play the profession based solely on what it could be if they would just make it right.
We have never complained about our profession like some of the others. We come into these forums and make wonderful suggestions on how we could be improved. We add more role play posts in these forums than any other profession. It's obvious from these facts that most of us are into being a smuggler and are actively trying to improve upon what we have.
That's why I'm mad. We are either completely ignored or implicated by high-up SOE employees as being complainers. That's a lot of thanks for a group that really tries to help out and wants to make this game as "Star Warsy" as possible.
I would guess that the only profession that has a following as big as this one is Jedi. They've had how many fixes and revamps? I guess that must be because there's no complaining going on over there inthat forumand they offer so many constructive posts...
Sorry, just letting off some steam. You get the right when you've played a semi-broken profession for a year.
