I will not give up. Smugglers is kinda Fun out of content profession...
Some people in my PA are like "Im TKM with defense of Pistoleer and fencer, noone can be me..."
I am more like "I am Smuggler, I look cool, I got the best Titles (ever messed with Fence? hehe), I can spend hours over hours in my professions forum laughing, I can always repeat to others with 'I'm a Smuggler, what do you expect?', I can comprehend every language (Funny what Twi'Lek dancers have to discuss in Lekku). I personally speak English, French, German, Dutch and Spain ("Sure I speak French, I'm a smuggler you know..."), I know all Tradebugs inside-out, every non-grinding Smuggler is a potential friend (/smugglershake), Fast-Talking actually works ("Can we talk about that cityban, you know, Im no aggressive Rebel, I'm just a business stumbling in some unlucky situation..."), I suck so much even a novice Marksman can beat me (-Body shot1 -Feign Death "Aah, you got me..."), my customerslist has about 200 entrys, each with a little comment...("Another Speed Slice, you suck." -"I know, why try to get that officially from the devs" -"What ?!?")
I got a special thats better than the stopping shot and I can fire it nearly as fast as a untrained rifleman his specials, I have about 15 handmade RPing-Macros, I am very special 'cause of me being smuggler even my CSR Tickets get a special treatment (It'S called "Move to Trashcan")

I HAVE MASTERED THE PROFESSION WITH THE SQUEAKY SHOES (if you don't get the hint watch "Kung-Pow")

I think we need to have a smuggler toga, party after all it is what they did in Animal house when the poo hit the fan! 
I have to say for how beat down we are this is the strongest and most "back watching"community in the game and they cant take that away. The scum always rises to the top!

I've read so many revamp post, thrown out so many good ideas, read a lot of great ideas, seen so many "we're sorry but" post, that I have become indifferent.
If it weren't for the RP community on Kettemoore, i'd be playing Jedi Academy-or reading a really good book.

I don't have a toga, but I looted a Hefneresque bathrobe the other day. Will that work?

Im here, I'm fighting. ButI am doing it in my own, secret way. Every customer I slice for I let them know to support the Smuggler's fight.

I'll be a smuggler till I cancel.
Depends on how this next patch and JtLS go, but I can't see being here next spring.
Too bad, because Smuggler is the first class I've played that I actually got into the RP. Wierd, because I'm a martial-arts instructor (part-time) in real life, you'd think I'd have been peachy at TKM... but anybody can play a badass, not everybody can be a sleazy double-dealer.
Caylin, remember your training at the summit. I freely offer my dojo for brushing up, and plenty of good ukes for throwing/beating... *cough* _teaching_, sorry.
Oh yeah, and if one of the devs ends up disappearing, I'm sure we could come up with about 75 alibis for you.
What officer? Caylin? Yeah, he's been right here all week. We've been drinking ourselves stupid. We're Smugglers. Oh? You are too? You understand then. You want a beer? No, we're out of the hard stuff, we saved it for the 'revamp' last month.

That's exactly where I am man. I deleted my master smug out of pure disgust awhile back and started all over. But I still lurk these forums daily because smuggler is the only thing ive ever wanted to be. Just not soe's current incarnation of it.

Unfortunately I am still unable to play living in the Barracks sucks. Still trying to find a house out in town but I am now stationed in japan not sure how playable it will be when I move. As for Smuggling I don't have any plan to give it up in the near future. Nope not going to happen.
