After recieving 0 tip from one of my first customercontainer slicing experiences wich resulted in a blue force crystal being given to him,contributed to mebecoming a bitter smuggler. Only use smugglers you know in trust is my advice. Dont randomly spam for someone to open your container. although 99% of the time its junk, there's no way you can no for sure if you got lucky and therefore robbed.

Untrusting of other players from the beginning is what drove me to gosmuggler, cause i thought the 3-4 containers I had looted were real treasure that I trusted trading to no one. Sure theres MANY honest smugglers out there, or they come here and claim to be, butjust beware that not all areand theres no way for you to know for sure.

You got back an armor upgrade kit? Sounds supicious to me. Check and see if it has a creator name on it.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE: DEFEATING A COMMANDO

When I was grinding through slicing and unlocking containers, I didn't even look inside containers I sliced for other people. That way I was never tempted to rip them off. They'd always just say "Aw... nothing but junk." anyway. Out of containers that I looted and sliced for myself, I've never got anything worth keeping. And when I get contianers now, I just give them to Novice's and they can keep whats inside.

I looted a locked container off the corvette and inside were some gold hawt pants that I gave to my lovely lady friend(they dont do my legs justice).

if its a paying customer that i just feel is polite, then that makes a difference. butmany times(coronet especially)its someone who tries to trade a satchel of 20 containers, demanding you to, "hurry the F' up aint got all day!" while your trying to deal with paying customers. I suggest using a guildie smug, or one you've heard good things about.

it feels good do do others good but being not tipped at all when your honest makes us feel used. I only slice them now with someone who's done good buisiness w/ me. Usually for free if he's already done good paying buisiness. I do myself carry around old unlockeds, cause there are times when containers come up completely empty, and thats a terrible feeling so I at least like to put in a padded jacket or something, or if someone i respect, +1 skill tape. if it was a true buddy it would feel good to return a crystal.

Yes, that is what I do. When they ask me "What's inside" I just trade it back to them and tell them to look for yourself. I'm just doing it for the skill
