Then there's always the ability to mezz and run if its just you and you're outnumbered.

Remember all those trandos on Avatar station? Imagine us being able to mezz all of them but one, essentially forcing them to fight the whole group alone, then killing it and moving on to the next Trando.

It's sad when Bounty Hunters is seeking to get Smuggler abilities nerfed.

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

how are they seeking to get it nerfed? I thought that they were using it on Jedi to root them? I only pop into the smuggler and bounty hunter boards when I want to feel better about my self. They against it becoming a paralysis?

When a Bounty Hunter makes up tactics to use Smuggler abilities, thats the first step towards asmuggler nerf.

I feel bad over the real smugglers who's abilities always end up FotM, abused and then nerfed.

What happens to smugglers who prefer to fight and do things solo?


Well i guess i should finish grinding my jedi since all the content is based on their level and the insignificant professions should feel privelleged to tag along with them so the jedi so they can access content.


No seriously how can a smuggler solo stuff worthwhile when this becomes active?

not a dig but that's their job. To use ablities to their advantage to take their mark. They are meant to fight ditry with whatever means possible. When they do find a method it is Jedi that whine and cry until it is nerfed. Therefore it's not Bounty hunters getting a move nerfed but the Jedi they are killing. It's believed that bounty hunters will be limited to one vs one against Jedi. Now a one vs 1.5 x alpha class is just stupid. This has come about by Jedi whining about the gank squads. Now one vs one I can kite a jedi all day and even make them run when they run out of force. Killing one however is a different matter. God pvpers use tactics, bad ones cry nerf.

it's a Multi-player game your not really meant to solo stuff, well you can take on something your own level but only one at a time not many. A paralysis is much much better than a root IMO, and if you really want a root go up the xxx4 line in pistoleer.

Yeah, I like concussion the way it is now, as a root. Alot of people want it as a mez too. A possible compromise might be to have a two staged mez. Where when it's first applied that it's a mez like everyone wants, but if you damage the target before the shot wears off then they stay rooted till it finally wears off, only they can start shooting back, healing, etc. But I'm going to guess that folks like us who use concussion as an aid to soloing we'll have to adapt. Thats just my two credits.

But smugglers dont hunt Jedi. They smuggle Jedi. Bounty Hunters hunt Jedi.

The BH vs Jedi stuff are bad for everyone involved. It always end up with someone getting hurt.

hmmm... so. what you're saying, is that because the devs wrote the code, and that a bounty hunter is using the grey matter behind their eyes, to figure out a way to actualy do what they are made to do, hunt the NUMBER ONE MOST DANGEROUS PREY in the game, another player. And that player having ground/unlocked/rubbed the magic jellybean( yes, i DO know how you unlock your jedi slot)to be able to be FS, then work the even longer path to Jedi, with powers above and beyond the normal player, runs around in front of starports, in starports, and anywhere else they feel like waving the glowstick, and still not want to pay the penalty for visability. that same player, after getting rezed, then heads to the forum of the prof who's special was the one that gave the bh the edge to actualy DO something, and starts moaning long and loud about how " this special is overpowered blablabla" and " how does it feel to be on the end of ther nerfbat" and that it's the Bounty Hunters Fault for ACTUALY DOING WHAT THEY GET "PAID" TO DO, which gets us another notch on the nerfbar?

Fie i say to you, you wretched Mudlark! Oh what a foul, botched work are you, who cast cries of "nerf" as if they were seed. Shame be heaped upon you for actualy declareing that you "I feel bad over the real smugglers who's abilities always end up FotM, abused and then nerfed." it's not our fault the the DEVS can't figure out a way to put the Genie back in the bottle.... i for one never wanted to be a jedi. but it looks like i'm going to be forced to become one, just to enjoy the game i've spent over $400 dollars to play.

show me a "Real Smuggler" because they must not be playing the same game as the rest of us.. if they're Real Smugglers, then they must be smuggling.....
