Thread: Why we lost the Battle of the Crackdown
This is really sad to hear. What makes it worse, is that there was no real way we could hold him accountable for our repesentation.... or misrepesentation. All our questions about what he had posted on the correspondent forum were met with non-answers. Alot of people were upset that we would get on his case about this publish, because we quite frankly didn't know what he was doing, for all we knew he could have been explaining word for word how we were feeling.. But apparently he wasn't doing very much on this issue.
But to be fair, it seems like San was pretty busy right around this time with other things, that perhaps kept him from the correspondent board more then he would have liked.
It's since it's in the past, I think its time for a new positive outlook on the way things will go for us. We have a new correspondent, and hopefully a new direction for the community.

Yea I said that I didnt see what all the huff was about and I still dont.
Hell the patch is out Im not hearing about how the imps are stealing all you smuggler business.
Why is that oh becuase there is no smuggler business. There never was going to be any smuggler business
in this patch.
A bunch of children got there panties in a wad becuase there self imposed hopes were dashed.
Well tough go cry to your mothers becuase no one cares.
Now that Im not stuck with the position anymore I can tell you 19 spoiled nimerodes where you can stick it.
If you ever have the urge please come to lowca where i can kick your virtual ass's.

Who needs hokey religions and ancient weapons just give me something to smuggle.
It's unfortunate that I was right - you hadn't been representing us adequately or articulately. Believe me, I checked every thread from the past month.
It IS fortunate that you are now retired. Now the the position has been liberated to free space for someone who can write a persuasive sentence and who, based on what I've read, seems like he'sof the mind that he should bepromoting more than his personal agenda.
We lost the battle, but we got reinforcements to replace the dead weight. Hopefully the war isn't over, but it's a long slog uphill from the ditch youyawned us into, SanTsu.
I never supported you I supported the smuggler community
You all were just the pimple on my ass.

Don't know what I did to get tossed in that sentence...*shrug*...I stayed pretty quiet through the whole mess...
Anyway...love you too San...
You know if you guys played the game instead of living on the forums you might have had a real
opinion.
*shrug*...
I'm not gonna get in a pissing contest with you.
Was I "FOR" you during all this mess? Not really...no...
But, I wasn't dead-set against you either.
All I really wanted was more communication...not necessarily to know what the devs were telling you, but what YOU were telling them (which apparently wasn't much)...I guess that was too much to ask for though...
As far as playing the game...in case you haven't noticed, I'm working on building my SECOND character. And you're not the only one that's been doing stuff in the real world lately...
So bite me...
Anyone who blames this solely on San is a very narrowminded-simpleton. Nomatter how much or little San communicated with the devs, the devls already KNEW what shape the smuggler profession was in. Thunderheard made a few posts really explaining what they knew, how they understood how we felt, and our ideas.
I'm not nor do I want to get into this silly debate of how good/bad San was as a coorespondent. Honestly, I don't really care. This is a GAME people. Sure you pay for it, but its a game nonetheless. It it not the end of the world if your ideal vision of a smuggler was not met in one patch. Go outside, ride a bike, take a walk, go get smashed with a bunch of buds. Forget SWG for a little bit and see if you realize how much of an issue this isn't.
(Not directed at anyone, no flame intended, I hope responses to this are kept civil, if any)

Couldnt agree more
Where were you when they decided to turn what was the best forum on the boards into a
whinefest about there desires with no clue as to what a game like this entails.
You want me to care about your respect then you need to be more then just a peace nic
with a fear of confrontation.
