Err there's no level 4 for critical hit, or damage. Speed is the only 4 level possiblity.
EDIT: I forgot that all acutally use Simple Tool Kits.

Wow, can't slice beyond a weapons set max damage huh? I know I'd read that too but still hated to see that message pop up. Guess I'll try for the critical slice next....

Hm? Where did you see this at? On TC people were slicing over the max damage cap of the weapon....

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

When you empty out crates of WUK's and AUK's the LAST one out WILL be salvagable. I did this with one crate of WUK's and two crates of AUK's. The very last one to be taken out was able to be salvaged.

Does this mean it is impossible to acquire a 25-30% increase anymore? If so... What is the purpose? The system still seems borked and needs some fine tuning.

That was pre Combat Upgrade. That went away long long ago.

This is the new system. It's been fine tuned. You're looking at it.

Everyone will need to get used to this new system. And if people don't like it, well.... I think you still have a respec window popping up, right?

Eh, I guess you are right... I don't intend to respec, I didn't choose smuggler for slicing anyhow... I guess a 12% slice is better then nothing anyway.

Well I had 6 pistols crafted to max damage and I could slice none of them for damage. I'm still going through my stockpile of kits trying to get a Delicate Trigger Assembly but no luck so far. Also, I have a couple of weapons on me that have been sliced but it no longer shows that it has, it gives me the option to slice them but nothing happens when I try. So no reslicing of your older weapons.

When you say you could not slice them for damage.. did the system prevent you from trying, or did you get screwed and lose the components and customization points, and no bonus was applied?

On TC, people WERE able to slice above the max, which seemed to make sense. Sadly, someone filed this as a bug. And if they fixed this "bug", then I'm afraid slicingis still quite broken. Especially if they allowed you to apply the slice and didn't tell you the weapon was capped until after it was already too late...

Scavaged some WUK's and got TONS of Finely Crafted Toolkits, so was able to get the last set of numbers

Impact Deflection 3 | 75% | Powered Motivators | 60% Chance armor not damaged.

All done
