Whats fair is fair, if they're going to throw a force bone to everyone else, who not us? But then when have they yet thrown us a bone anyway?

if they come within 500 feet of touching smuggler with the force, I will pee on them. I became a smuggler to be a smuggler, not to become a Jedi to become a better smuggler. the term 'force-sensitive smuggler' makes my head hurt.

Well, its not like they will actually give us consideration for it anyhow.

I still believe that the smuggler class is a major conspiracy. Anyone who has ever said "hey let's get the smugglers up to date", gets the Jimmy Hoffa treatment. But thats just my opinion.

No. I SWEAR TO GOD if Smuggler HAS to be force enhanced i'll kill the devs, destroy the servers with my hands, then commit suicide. The whole idea of everyone in the galaxy being 'force sensitive' to become more worthy in their own profession makes me SICK.

And, what is this with you saying armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, combat profs. etc getting an advantage to being force sensitive? I don't believe that's true. If it is, and i'm mistaken, then i'm quitting Galaxies.

I'm with Arono on this one, and only slightly less vehement. I see too much Force nonsense in the game already. Make me unlock it just to keep up with the grinders, despite having been a master for nearly a year, and I'm out of here.

Besides, there just seems to be something inherently contradictory between the ethos of the smuggler and the ethos of the force sensitive.

What about when they fixed.... no, that wasn't it...... Well, how about when they improved.... no, they didn't improve anything for us...

Umm, give me a minute. There HAS to have been something they did to improve the Smuggler profession! Right? .....guys?

I agree that we should be given SOMETHING...

but this just isn't it.

Being a good Smuggler should have nothing to do with being Force Sensative. Smugglers should get Luck and Persuasion of their own...not having to jump through hoops...

After all, the Jedi I've read about didn't believe in luck.

For Smugglers, on the other hand, Luck is a way of life. And you have to have some kind of persuasive skills to get past checkpoints and such...

Anyway...making Smuggler, or any other profession for that matter, reliant on Force sensativity to be the best is just ridiculous. (Except in the case of Jedi of course)...

What the hell devs were thinking w/ the FS to enhance others proffs? I think after all the change had put into place, they should change the game from Star War: Galaxy Divided to Star War: Galaxy of force. Even this is just a game, but this game was base on Star War the movie. There are only a handful Jedi on the movie, due to the fact that 90% of all players want to become Jedi, then fine, let them be Jedi, but PLEASE, do not make everyone have to become FS to be more efficent in combat or smuggling or crafting. Imagine this: In episode I when the corellian corvette about to be boarded................. Rebel think to himself "hahahahaha, let the storm troopers board the ship, I am FS, let rock them all."............ And that my friend would ruin the entire saga.

Jedi are holy, noble, and EXTREMLY RARE. I can live w/ 20% population of server to be FS, but I can't stand the idea of all of us have to be FS in order to do anything right. Sadly I knkow I have to become FS to maitain the effective of my armor........

How many Jedi do you know that have ANY bit of Smuggler in their templetes? Enhancing you say, destroying I say, IMHO

That's a seperate issue. That's an issue of "Smuggler provides no worth while skills to a dabbler at all" ...

The issue I'm talking about is:

There are Force Sensative Skills in the game already. They are designed to enhance typical professions NOT jedi. They are enhancing other professions like Doctor, Dancer, Weaponsmith ... but smugglers have no benefit from it. Not fair.

If my smuggler unlocks ever... I'm not making him a jedi...I'm keeping my smuggler. But why shouldnt I have the option of Force enhancing my typical profession like everyone else in the game has?

Right with you Hollow.

The problem is that the devs once again have put almost no thought into the way force sensitives are dealt with.

My view has always been along the lines of:

Unconcious Force Sensitives:

These people aren't aware that they're using the force. They have passive bonuses in a praticular field.

In the case of a smuggler an unconcious force sensitive would gain bonuses affecting the minimum value of their slicing range.

they'd just attribute their better results as 'luck'. Likewise, their higher effect spices are attributed to their great skills in chemistry.

Unconcious effects would be for defences, crafting and utility skills

Concious Force Sensitives:

Are aware they have some wierd ability, but don't understand where it comes from or how it works. They might have very minor active abilities or bonuses to certain skills or stats similar to the Unconcious Froce Sensitives.

Concious effects would be for attack skills, active abilities (like Stopping shot) and possibly even enhanced healing or recovery

Operant Force Sensitives

These people are aware they're different and aware of the force - and can become Jedi Padawans.

You would move from unconcious to concious to operant - if you wanted to - there'd be nothing stopping you from staying as an unconcious/concious if you wanted to. It might help to control Jedi numbers too.

It makes waaaaaay more sense than the current system. But then so would a magic force pixie running round making select people jedi.

Forgive my cynicism.

Please, please please PLEASE, I beg everyone to keep the force with the Jedis. I do NOT want to have to WASTE time becoming FORCE ******* SENSITIVE because it improves my profession. Not everyone in ******* Star Wars is FORCE SENSITIVE. In Anyway. What. So. Ever. Han Solo didn't even BELIEVE in the Force, let alone rely on it to get better freaking slices.
