At the very least if they give teh profession some force sensativity, itbetter be for us. None of this, "and now with force sensatives running around, the community of SWG will enjoy better crafted items, improved buffs, and better slices" (ficticious Blackwell quote).

Give us force sensativity when flying a shipment of spices through an astroid belt, orusing sliced items (cause i can slice some one elsespistol for 32% damage, but mine is ALWAYS 16% speed ).

The issue I'm talking about is:

There are Force Sensative Skills in the game already. They are designed to enhance typical professions NOT jedi. They are enhancing other professions like Doctor, Dancer, Weaponsmith ... but smugglers have no benefit from it. Not fair.

What I find the devs are failing to recognize is that the Force sensative skills are enhancing individuals at the detriment of the professions. FS skills are NOT a benefit to the profession as a whole. Think about it: the player that has been a Master Doctor since launch is suddenly LESS qualified then some grinder who spent all his time unlocking and now has decided to dabble in Doctor. He has no experience giving buffs or anything else, yet suddenly his services will go through the roof as everone falls over themselves getting the best of the best. Our regular, experienced Master Doctor, however, either has to find a new profession, or is forced to unlock his own FS slot to remain competitive.

Basically, with these kinds of moves, the Devs are virtually forcing everyone into their Jedi or pseudo-Jedi molds. Jedi may be cool and all, but not everyone wants to be forced to go that route.

Jedi Luck, what an oxymoron... /sigh

No matter, if thats the way its going to be, and everyone, from crafters to fighters are going to be using Force Sensitivity to stack with their current skill mods, weshould be ableto do the same with force persuasion/jedi luck, stack those withe our current smooth talking/smugglers luck mods...

...What? we dont have those mods in the first place? Oh buttocks.

That's one thing I found beyond strange... in the books, Smugglers are renowned for their luck, whether the person with them believes inluck or not, evenJedi left slack-jawed on at least one occasion.

As for Force Sensitivity, I agree, the Luck, Persuasion and Vehicle Control (to a lesser extent, in my opinion) skills are things we've been begging for, for months, but once again the Jedi get the attention. The Luck skill isn't coming in quite the form I would have expected, but maybe when they get around to fixing our profession, they'll give us a different/better one. Wishful thinking, I know...
