15k per slice min for me and will not do containers... if they pop an attitude or use leet speak it increases. If they handle it in a rp manner a lot of times I will drop my min but those are few and far between. In the old days I would charge 3k per slice and 1k if it was below 20%.
The other smuggler in our guild was still charging 3k per slice until recently. He switched to "Tip what you feel it was worth" and was having great success with that (ranging from 5-100k per slice with the occasional 2-3k tips). It only took one person to spoil that by having him slice 7 weapons and after he said tip what you feel it was worth... they paid him nothing with a simple "Thx" and ran off. He now has prices in my range. *Hint to any non-smugglers reading this* Don't bite the hand that feeds ya. I popped off a mail to several of the smugglers on my friends list with this person's name and well... he will have a harder time finding slice work for a while.
Bulk slicing I don't really do, but I do some work for 3 or 4 WS's. I don't charge them, but I get the pick of the weapons I slice for myself at cost if not free.
When the new system comes along, I'll see how much of a pain it is before setting any prices, but can only imagine they will go up.

If someone sends me a tell asking me for a price, and makes me stop what I'm doing, even if I'm just sitting in a cantina, I'll usually be alot more difficult with pricing if I don't know them. I sometimes run around with my slicer title up just for the heck of it, so I do get the occasional random tell, which is kind of strange when I'm sitting next to a master smuggler half the time and they ask me to slice....
If I have to do any travelling, I typically state a minimum number of credits for my trouble, like 50k. At the very least, they'll come up with a few more weapons for me to slice just for the heck of it instead of giving me 50k for one slice, other times, they will just say forget it. I prefer the second, actually. Leave me to my drink...

On Wanderhome I charge 10-20k per slice. If the person has a bad attitude I'll up it to 25k, and if I'm in a hurry I'll charge more.
<3k or the 100 credits per % is crap. The people who do that have no idea how bad they're getting ripped off.

Yeah, but all Imps automatically ask what Rebels get charged heh
But mopst of the time I don't wear the tag or carry tools, so public slicing isn't something I do a great deal of

i charge 5k a slice because i dont get customers, i always ask that someone reccomend me or come back for more business, but ive just had bad luck.

When I was trying to make a name fir myself, I had the same little speech that I macro'd to all customers who tipped me:
"Thanks for the tip...all good tippers go on my Preferred Customer list, so it's 3k a slice to you and any of your friendsfrom now on...just tell them to mention your name when contacting me. And I'll come to you if you need"
That got my foot in the door, and the tips you make more than cover the slice price drop

First of all, drop the under '20% and it's free' garbage. Your time is impt and they should respect that. They don't need to be coddled like a bunch of pre schoolers. As for what Sunrunner Smugglers are charging, I charge 23k, most other folks charge between 10-15k. If people give you crap about the price feel free to be gumpy with em. For an effective way to deal with slicing customers complining about prices, send me an in game email and I'll show you what my bio says.
I did the whole 20% free thing to get my name out there so people would come back, and before just a little while ago, I liked slicing so didn't charge alot for the pain that it now is. like I said before, I'm prob going to charge 10 to 20k depending on what I'm doing at the time and their attitude.

remember, no matter what you are doing...even if it is sitting around semi afk...it is more important than slicing for someone

I do either a 10k base rate if im cranky, or if I am in a good mood I say they can pay however much they think they should pay, usually they pay better than 10k, some dont, thats when I get cranky and start charging just 10k, lol.

This is an issue ive been wanting to get onto for months but couldnt cause station was messing up and not letting me log in to the forums 
Now on naritus ive seen people charging as low as 1k per slice (undercutters). I kept my prices at 8 to 10k for a long time but unfourtunatley i just didnt seem to be getting the customers. I wont lower myself and shout spam my service or my prices in public (i believe the nature of our buisness decrees that its the client who finds us). Yes i will wear my tag but thats cause i'm damn proud to be a smuggler despite our shortfalls in the proff. If i could keep charging the higher end prices for my slicing service i would but simply put ive had more buisness and bigger tips charging 5k per slice. If this is undercutting someone charging 12k per slice on naritus that so be it but ive tried with those prices and come to one conclusion. Naritus is full of Scrooges :shrugs:
