Yeah....well, I raised my prices when I realized I couldn't sell Spices and that Master Smuggler severely limited my ability farm "phat lewt", solo Krayts for stuff, and run 45k missions and stuff.
So, since I'm using up my skill points on Master Smuggler to slice your gear so you can go and make millions apon millions of credits...I think I'm entitled to something a little over 2,300cr per item.
I'm giving up my ability to go into high end combat (although it's still possible)...
So surely you can give up 1/1000th of the sale price of just one of your premium pearls so that you can stick a permanent power up on your weapons or armor.

12-20K, definitely. People will pay it and it's worth your time at that rate.

Erly i take 5k by weapon, 7k by armor. Now u take 8-10k. Later mayby i take higher. I thins every work must be payed. And ilegal work must be good paid

I would say 8-12k credits and that's a good deal. 15 and 25k slices aren't that uncommon.
The reason that you may pay 12k for a VibroKnuckler and have it cost 8-12k to get it sliced is slimple: Making it worth the Smugglers time and the fact that it's a permanent power up.
If you see a Smuggler charging 100cr per percent or 2k for slices, you are not looking at a good deal. You are looking at an undercutter that's putting other people out of business because he's got no appreciate for what he or she is doing for the weapon/armor or their profession.

I personally charge 23k min for a slice. Course I have something of a rep on my server for being a hardazz on slice prices. IN fact some guy tonight asked me if I would slice 7 pieces of armor. I told him to read my bio and is he was allright with that then I would slice. He did and in the end asked me if 280k was enough for the slices. I said yes, that would be just fine. 40k per slice was a nice round sum

when i 1st did smugg a long time ago it was 2k but now i think we need credit 4 30% slices i let the guy chose pay base or pay by percent my base is 14k percent is more fun

My attitude's changed.
Rebel Officers now get 3k slices, Rebel grunts 5k slices. Imperial grunts get 10k slices, Imperial Officers get charged 15k.
I've millions sat in the bank from faction sales and bulk slicing contracts. I figure I can have some fun infuriating Imps.

i rarely ever slice publicly because I hate it, but if I do I usually charge 10-12k. If people have a problem with that fine, I don't need their money anyway.

I'm a brand new Smuggler, at frist I did 5k a slice, then saw everyone elses prices and bumped it up to 7k. I have always had the deal that if it's under 20% it's free(which I think I might get rid of). I have my prices competitive because this is my only source of income, so.... But I'm thinking about upping it up a bit, maybe to 10k a slice (people seem to contempt with my prices right now.. ohh 7k, Alright!!!, Free if under 20%....HELL YEAH!!!). How much do Sunrunner Smugglers charge?

First of all, drop the under '20% and it's free' garbage. Your time is impt and they should respect that. They don't need to be coddled like a bunch of pre schoolers. As for what Sunrunner Smugglers are charging, I charge 23k, most other folks charge between 10-15k. If people give you crap about the price feel free to be gumpy with em. For an effective way to deal with slicing customers complining about prices, send me an in game email and I'll show you what my bio says.

Most smugglers on Tempest usually charge around 5k per slice. i personally opted for a no set price approach. I tell them to tip me what they think its worth. 1 cause i don't really need the money which is good cause i do tend to get a few ppl about once a week that decide free is good and don't tip anything and 2 in most cases ppl aren't as stingy with credits if ya let them decide( i usually get at least 10k more than i would of charginppl what others do).
