I just added a 5 star. It now show 5 ratings, 1.1 average.
Something buggy here. I changed my setting, no more missing posts because of one star ninjas. lol
Oh, and I know you are not asking us to raise your post rating Nicolas Frost lol Just trying to pinpoint a bug here.

Yeah, only reason I noticed it is when I don't see a thread I wanna just jump right into, I track myself looking for new replies to things I've said, and typically, if I see that one of my posts have been hit by a one-star, I wanna go see why. But when clicking on the link to that post, and not seeing that post anywhere in the thread, it makes ya wonder just what the hell is going on.

If I remember correctly ... ratings are tiered (so 1-star bandits don't carry as much weight) ...

the best i've found is to go raid the lost aqualish cave on talus, they get yo friend with both the Corsecs and the Rogue Corsecs, which is supposed to let you walk through Corellia peacefully.
for info, a single raid makes you go for -5000 to positive (not sure, but i believe it was +3000).

Cupcakes!! 
If the cupcakes don't work - try whacking some Meatlumps, RagTags, or head up to the Rogue Corsec base and start knocking 'em off. Not sure exactly what improves rating but those would be good starts.

My very FIRST day in the game, I had no idea where to go or what to do, but was supposed to meet up with a friend outside of Coronet. He sent me his WP and explained how all of the WP stuff and everything worked, so I started running in his direction. Just as I near the outskirts of C'net, a group of CorSecs open up on me...incap and DB me!
I had been in game for a total of like 20 minutes...it was sad...and my friend was laughing his ass off at me...

Thing is, for some reason, CorSec seem to randomly attack even peoples who have high CorSec faction. Like me, I am at 4500 CorSec faction and I STILL get attacked by them sometimes.

After having taken a much needed night off from the forums and the game and having a beer or two, I'm calm enough to post again despite being chastised for my negative comments yesterday and having multiple posts removed, along with a slew of 1 stars.
I hope you decide to continue to post in the Smuggler forum, Goliath. I think you understand first hand the anger and outlash that can happen when the Smuggler community sees someone dressed in red letters coming in here for something other than discussion of a Smuggler revamp.
I apologize sincerely for any of my comments yesterday and hope that anything I said doesn't sway your thoughts of hanging out in here with what is usually a very friendly and caring family of players.

To my fellow Cynics out there...*PLEASE* give Goliath a break. He's not here to fix our profession. So what? He's a member of our community, and would just like to participate in our discussions as a fellow Smuggler.
Not all Red-named people can have an impact on us, so lets save our "input" for the ones who do...like Tiggs, or TH (who are supposed to listen to us and communicate with us)...or JustG (who apparently has some clout)...or GreenMarine (who hopefully will actually be fixing us...eventually)...and if you see JFreeman around anywhere definitely let him know what we think of his "smuggling" vs "Smuggling" ideas...
Granted...Tiggs could have chosen better wording for her thread title...but that's not Goliath's fault.
And keep in mind guys...when an actual revamp comes (and at this point, I'm guessing April / May is a good estimate)...while he may not be a coder, and my not directly work on our revamp, Goliath is in a position to do a little more arm twisting than the rest of us... . So, lets keep him on our side.

Dreven, I don't want to scare anyone away, and I hope that Goliath continues to post here.
Unfortunately being a red name on these boards is a lot like being a cop in real life. People react to you differently when they see that badge - much like people reacted like they did when they see a red name.
These boards have been starved for so long from seeing anyone from SOE posting here than we could havebecome our own country by now and no one would have noticed. Having Goliath here is a welcome change and I look forward to seeing more from him and having a dialogue about various smuggler things that come along. But - as hadbeenpointed out - he's not a decision maker. So I don't want to look at his arrival as him being the second coming. He's just a guy who works at SOE that plays a smuggler, that's all.
And for Tiggs to post that its a treat is just misleading since we've been looking for developer attention for forever.

we still come along with the same old issue, communication...
when Tiggs come here and talks about treat, we are fool enough to believe her, next time we won't believe her (or JustG if he's still living, or TH if he dares show up, or GM if not buried into tons of work, or JFreeman if not playing random games with ASCII code).
We're in dire needs of communication, we provde SOE with checks everymonths, we provide SOE with issues everyday, and what do we receive apart from a broken profession? An arrogant silence, softened with some lies and broken promises.
We do not have any grief towards Goliath, he's an artist, he's a Smuggler, and he looks kind, no way we would tease him, all the issues we have are towards those who obstinately refuse to communicate.

what you all don't realize is that goliath is actually Smuggler_Caylin. that's why he stopped playing Caylin, so he can become a DEV!!!! they're hiding it! its a conspiracy!!! all hail the Smuggler Dev!
