Thread: I have a treat for you...

Guys and gals, I think for the most part this thread has gotten WAAAY off topic. It is not a place to bear our wounds or get in fights. It is simply an introduction of one of the devs that happens to play a smuggler in game. Let's not ask him too many questions (although if it's an art related question frie away)and treat him like we would any fellow smuggler. If you want to get mad a Tiggs let's do it in PMs, let's not let the level of discourse on the boards get out of hand. I mean, seriously let's save that for when they really screw up not something like introducing a person.
Tried this really early on...like a couple of posts down the first page...then again several times in the middle...
Now, I'm just afraid the thread it too far gone...I give up...

hehe, yeah Tiggs was getting beat up pretty bad for ignoring us...though I doubt doing an introduction post then disappearing again without talking to us about our issues is going to do much for her in our eyes.
Come back Tiggs...engage us.
I didn't think I needed to babysit this thread, while I do not post much in the profession forums it does not mean that I am not reading them *lurker*.
This thread was meant to introduceyouto someonethat is as passionate about the game and Smuggler profession as you are that works for the company (not saying the rest of the Dev team isn't as passionate). You do have a correspondent that is here to gather your feedback and concerns and pass that on to TH and I and we take whatever issues he presents to us to our Dev team meetings.
The problem has been raised lots of time Tiggs, we don't know what the issue we provide to you become, we don't know what the your dev team meeting decides about the issues, we don't know a single thing. And that's why we keep on teasing you. I asked it before, i ask it now, and until i get an answer i'll ask it again. What happens to all these issues? Can we have a status of pending issues? We do provide feedback as mush as we can, probably even far more than you can handle, but if we don't even know if it's being considered tell us why we should go on?
Aren't you fed up ebing asked about the crate auto-pulling issue? i'm sure you are at least as much as i am about asking, the simplest way to get rid of redundant questions is to answer them.
We're not talking about revamp matters, about breaking the CU NDA, we're talking about bugs being adressed; or at least acknowledged and inserted in a schedule.
The best way to put this is I am straight forward. If we have solid information I will post it. If we don't have anything that we know is solid I will not post it at all. This goes for things that may be in the process of being worked on. Why? Because something of a higher priority may bump whatever is being worked on off the scope (temporarily or permanently). Then it will come back to haunt us in the end. I know you and I both don't want to see that. So we won't set false expectations at all. It is a catch-22 and we can totally relate to your frustrations regarding this.
Are we fed up with being asked constantly? The team knows the level of concern about the crate autopulling issue but right now there are higher priority items on the plate that I can't go into detail about. We aren't fed up with the constant reminders. We appreciate the passion that you have in your profession enough to remind us and not give up on issues you feel strongly about (example: slicing auto-pulling issue).
I can respect what your saying but also think recognizing that in issue IS an issue is just as respectful. The problem is that we never got an official word about where it stands.(atleast not to me and i r ubah troll)
Thanks for saying something!!!

Oh...and thanks for clearing up the autopulling thing...but still...we could really use a little love...that would make a huge gesture of good faith on your part if you could see what could be done to move that up the ladder.
Especially in this time when the DEVs seem to be looking for simple quick ways to suddenly please lots of people.
We see the Imperial Hat now for example.
Yet adding ONE little sentence to our master box to indicate we have an advantage in slicing over slicer-4 is too much!? We've been asking for that sentence for over a year. It's just a few words of text!
And the crate issue ... I mean come on ... the story of 'the auto pull was an unintended side effect of another change" is insulting -- the patch notes said:
Smuggler: Smugglers will no longer be able to ...
It was at least well aware of the impact on smugglers, and it even sounded like it was targeted at smugglers.
