When I slice I always tell my customers to start praying. If the first slice is bad I tell them to pray harder. Don't laugh it works!

So last night I agree to slice 10 pieces of armor for a friends friend. He hands them to me and it goes like this:

Me: Start Praying

Him: How do I do that? I tried /pray it doesn't work!

My Friend: /emote prays for him

Me: Well I guess you better worship me then

Him: /worship

Me: Chestplate Effect 22 - Pray harder

Him: /emote worships the bothan goddess

Me: Chestplate Encumb 40

Him: Nice

Him: /woship

We go through all ten pieces all of them Encumbrance except the first chestplate and the boots. They were all good slices. There was one 19% but most were in the upper 20's and 30's with I think 2 in the 40's

I was just about to slice the last piece when....

Him: Do you believe in inter species dating...because I think I love you.

Me: Right bracer encum 32 - why yes I do I'm actually engaged to a Doshan

Something like this happened in Corolag a few weeks ago. I was slicing a suit of armor for a guy and getting really bad results. Really, Really bad. The guy is cool about it though and after one really bad slice, he says "I'm cursed". Next slice,a really good one. On the next slice, just before I cut the last wire, I ask him to say "I'm cursed" again on a whim. He does and I get another good slice.

I sliced the rest of the suit getting good slices with him saying "I'm cursed" each time before the last wire cut.

The Slicing Gods are not mean, they just want to make sure we understand our place.

And another one of some guy challanging a smuggler to a duel.

I'm in the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley. It's a RP event on Gorath called Scum & Vilany and we (The Kreetles) play at the event. I'm there a little early and I'm reading emails and emoting rumaging through my pack by the stage. I have my Master Dancer titleup andI've got padded armor on.Then some guy comes in and challenges me to a duel (nOOb cloths and a CDEF or dl20 rifle, no badges ). I'm a little angry because I know that this is the same type of player who will abuse entertainers.The type who challange dancers to duels, never tips the entertainers for healing, etc... However, I ignore him and continue to emote rumaging through my pack and he makes his way out the door.

Equipt Modified Republic blaster (34% damage sliced with min/max p-up still on it from the last hunt)
Consume Brandy
Consume Accragram
Accept Duel.

As he was running down the ramp outside the Despot, I was hitting him with last ditch. When he collasped at the bottom, I walked up to his body, changed my title to Master Smugglerand said "Never, ever challange a Master Smuggler to a duel and then walk away" then ended the duel.Changed back to Master Dancer andwalked back up the ramp and went back to emoting rumaging through my pack by the stage.
