Thread: NOTHING effects slicing! It is RANDOM. There are no hidden patterns nor changes to the system!

Hi all. Allow me to introduce myself. I am N'Varra Wren, the "idiot" smuggler from Eclipse who guarantees a minimum of 30% slicing. As I tried to explain there, slicing is NOT 100% random. I will explain some of what I say, and some I will not, which of course, will cause the "lie" and "exploit" meters to go up for everyone. So take from this what you will....
blah blah blah...
....Roleplay CAN be fun, and can having a well earned reputation. Still makes me chuckle everytime someone kneels. It's the little things that make me smile.

Ok...you know how they say the real trick with magic is to distract the audience with one hand while the "trick" is actually taking place in the other...
Well...that's the feeling I got while I was reading that post. There's so much irrelevent information in there, and I got so bogged down and bored reading your "backstory" and such, that I just didn't care by the time I got to the end.
RPing doesn't change the fact that SLICING IS COMPLETELY RANDOM! Sure...I can RP 30%+ Damage slices all day long...but that doesn't change the fact that the system reports a 20% slice or whatever.
I don't know what you THINK you stumbled upon, but considering countless other Smugglers have ALL reported the sheer randomness of Slicing, I don't see why you would be singled out as being a special case so that you, and you alone, would be blessed with this knowledge.
I'll wait for Caylin to post his findings...if there's anything to find. But for the time being, I'm going to take the same stand with you that I take with all of the other "I know a secret that you don't know" Smugglers, and say YOU'RE FULL OF CRAP.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Let me ask you a question. The first person to discover bleed and FD for our profession, and didn't tell people this technique, was that person called a liar too?
I am done with this thread until Caylin reports his findings.
