defianately a... I am a doctor and since buffs have been unrandomized the market has actually gone up.. I think that knowing what slice you will get would be awesome and actually help many people. But yes I do feel that the option should only be at master and that the overall percentage should still vary

Lets look at it like this. Lets say you ask25 peoplein Hockey Town, USA, what thier favorite sport was. They would all say hockey. Now That sure as heck dosn't mean that the rest of the country agrees.


This is Hockey Town. All the different servers, those are the rest of the country.

which is why i started invite in the rest of the country = )

i decided i wasn't bored enough to post on EVERY server today, so i will slowly hit them all...

"A", in that the smuggler (at Master, of course) has some way of tipping the favor of the slice toward his/her preferred stat.


So, I'm not so much Pro-"A" and Anti-"B", where it's *completely* random.

Why does it have to be A or B? Why not make slicing more dynamic so that there's the potential to guess what you want, but not have 100% certainty. Perhaps make it a more involved process instead of, clamp, snip, snip.

um...slicing and unlocking jedi are 2 completely DIFFERENT things....







/sigh Kawika...the point of my post was to outline that of course most people would prefer something that made them more powerful. But just because most people want this new powerful thing does not mean it is right for the game. Ok lets go ahead and make it plainer for you. Most people probably would support pick o slice, well most people would also support bumping slicing ability from 10%-40% to 40%-90%. Sure they would support they would have more powerful weapons...doesnt exactly mean its right for the game.


And Dunlop...all Polls on these boards are invalid...There is no way to get a valid poll of the SWG community. And even if they did my above reason states why it is sometimes wrong to try. Now using a poll to get useful ideas like Poll: What new race would you like to see thats a good post to try and get information and useful ideas. This poll just confirms that so far a majority of people who happen to have responded think they deserve to make the rules.

If a smuggler slices an item he needs to know a lot about it to make it better, and then he has to do his work. So he should know what he wants to do in advance.
