And the ships are a one-off deal. Once they're fully decayed you need to buy it of someone else fora big wad of cash. I prefer using SW crafted ships, muchcheaper to replace.

From an SW point of view, the cool part of the expanion are the ships. But we are cut out of that. There is no content on the expansion for a shipwright. What content there was, the schamtics, were in my datapad before the expansion.

Silversaber have you tried out the Jedi Starfigher? I will most likely never be able to sell another chassis again. It is 90K mass. Half the size of a baby chuba. Two weapons mounts. Turns and stops on a dime. Has neat flippy wings. And oh yeah... ITS FREE.


I basically am going to delete my chassis vendor and all of the chassis on it since I have to compete with stuff twice as good people get for free after completing a few very easy ground missions. (although they are hella bugged right now)


Selling components is our only hope now. My alt is crying...

80,000 x 1.25 = 100,000. Not 1.25 million

1,250,000/80,000 = 15.625 cpu.

calm down. If shipwrights could make the Jedi Starfighter, ARC-170 and the new Privateer ship it would take rare looted parts. We all know how much artisans charge for stuff like that so the way it is now is fine by me.

There is NO reason they couldnt have handled it the same way they handled the other desirable items in the game by issueing a limited schematic as the quest reward. It does NOT mean that it needs rare components.

It's about time we get some really cool loot rewards. Not everything cool HAS to be made by artisans.

You still make every SINGLE piece that goes INTO these ships. Every ship except for the Yacht and that ship is useless. They are now making the stuff you make better. Why are you complaining? Your stock just went UP, not down.

You can't tell me you can't make money off of the parts that go into ships. I just got done upgrading my YT with player-made items and I bought them at a pretty inexpensive price compared to most shops on my server.

Know how much I spent? Nearly a million credits, that's how much. Then I got a Y-8 (for free HA!) and you know what I have to do now? Buy more stuff for it. Stuff YOU make. If it was a ship I had to buy it would be extremely expensive and I wouldn't have it. I also wouldn't by BUYING pieces to put into it would I? No. Same goes for a lot of people. Believe it or not you may very well make more money like this since more people will be needing new parts and there are now 6 ship slots.

You can make money and the economy will continue as it always has. Stop being so greedy.

Theres another design probelm rampent in this game. RARE LOOT DROPS. This was never supposed to be a loot game.


My whole argument is they should have made them a chassis design you peramntly learned and include the new resources as part of there crafting proccess. No loot drops. No dungeons.. just a learned schematic that required the new asteroid resources.

No one. You will swap your UBER looted RE'd parts and put them in your new ships. That's what most do when they get to Master Pilot.

Smokescreen I say!!!We've been asking for this since JTL beta????? Why suddenly are you all getting around to this??? To distract from the real issues bothering most of us? Come on man, you used to be a voice of the players... what happened when you got promoted?


I'll say thanks( I guess) but this really isn't at the top of the list as far as things that need addressing from these last few weeks of the nonstop slaps in the face.

too little too late, this has been an issue since jtl beta, 6 month turn around on asimple numbers tweak is appalling

What you post here would make sense if the player made components were better than what is looted!


Read the post that TH just made. It acknowledges that most of the components that is looted is BETTER than player made! And while his post is nice for the capacitors and engines we are making, it does NOTHING about the reactors that are dropping with 30-40k regeneration that we cannot EVEN get close to matching!


Many, and I mean MANY players play this game for the crafting aspect, NOT the combat aspect. This game washearalded for being innovative for includeing this type of gameplay .The ONLY way these folks can stay afloat in the game is selling items. If they cannot make and sell items that are equal or better than what is dropped/given by quest, then thier business SUFFERS.


But you dont care, all you think about these players is that they are greedy pigs for wanting to stay in businessand actually wanting to play the game the way it was MENT to be played.


Iether this is a Player Economy or it isn't. There is NO middle ground here.

What tier do you need to be to get it is the question. If you have to have a tier 4 or master level ship, then you'll still be selling chassises (sic?).


The other question is what the condition max is on it, because if it's fairly low (and for something that's small and 90k mass, i would expect it is) then it'll decay fast and frugal people will hold off on using it.
