Asteroid resources being needed only serves ONE purpose. Making me the player HAVE to pay for the exapnsion to get these myself OR compete not only with otherplayers BUT NPC'S??? I DO NOT PAY 20 TO 30 CPU for resources ever!!!! It's no way to run a business. The average player will just sell them to the NPC's. Thus forcing players to HAVE to buy the expansion.
I think this is fair--master pilots are going to have to going to have to pay through the nose for elite components. I believe this was intentional, and I'm glad the devs did it.
Just an FYI for Shipwrights. Crafted Engines and Capacitors should be getting stat increases across the board in the next live update. This should make it so that crafted versions of these ship components can be crafted at a higher quality than looted components.

calm down. If shipwrights could make the Jedi Starfighter, ARC-170 and the new Privateer ship it would take rare looted parts. We all know how much artisans charge for stuff like that so the way it is now is fine by me.
It's about time we get some really cool loot rewards. Not everything cool HAS to be made by artisans.
Im not a crafter of any type but ITS ABOUT TIME you make crafted ship componets better than the looted ones
I can see haveing a 1:100000 chance of looting a componet better than crafted but the way it has been since JTL launced almost all componets looted are better than crafted.
after that can we get craftable die and paint kits for armor since with the CU all armor converted is set to default color this sounds like something crafters should like for a little more income
oh and cant forget schematics for the new 1 time loot weapons like the Proton Carbine. dont seem fair to leave the weaponsmiths out with the new weapons i guess they are 1 time loot weapons to force people to use there ADK's on them

There is NO reason they couldnt have handled it the same way they handled the other desirable items in the game by issueing a limited schematic as the quest reward. It does NOT mean that it needs rare components.

Yes it does, if this game is to continue to have a Player based Economy. Player meaning the crafters. Cut the crafters out of the equation, then this concept is BROKEN. The giving away the best ships in the game kills the upper tier chassis market for us shipwrights, and is NOT acceptable.

I looked on TC with our last update, which incidentally is behind live by one update according to the live version patch notes - we are version 121946 which might explain why we can't reach RotW content despite having paid for it. As of our update capacitors are still significantly worse than looted ones.
Agreed. Can we get an update on when TC can actually access the expansion?

No that is NOT greedy!
To make a Firespray, we needno less than 8 very raredata disks labled 1 through 8thatare a result ofREing ship components. When i mean rare, I mean ULTRA rare. We get 1 disk outaapproximately 500 RE attempts.
Thats right, we get one Data disk component out of approximatley 500 RE's. And we can and do get duplicates all the time.
Why do you think we Shipwrights were ticked off when the Devsmade the ship chassis mobs to be allowed to buy your dropped components? That took alota of the components we had a chance to get a data disk out of the market, making them even MORE rare.
And the resulting Schematic we get when we finally get all the partsis limited to two,yesTWO ships we can make with it.
In my opinion, 10 mil is priced kinda low, and is a good bargain.
