Excellent news. I have been waiting for a Y-8.

All that will be left then is a heavy x-wing, a Royal Guard tie, or both.

What I *REALLY* wish they'd do is make one of the front two seats the pilot's chair and make the "captain's seat" in the middle of the bridge a second co-pilot chair. This makes flying the ship easier and also allows someone to take on the role as a captain yet still be able to see the exterior of the ship and have a function.


This is a "role play" game afterall, and there are many people that would like to role play a Captain of their mining vessel.

I agree with this. The pilot position in the Y-8 is really awful. I would much rather sit in the left operations chair to pilot the ship. I could then see where I am going.

In addition to Imaridril bug list :


6 ) the owner an YT can't use the /comm command at least on space station (including the avatar station) when he fly his own ship, whatever the sit used, including turrets. He has to fly to the hangar front to get automatically hail and communicate with the station. Dunno for the other POB ship.


7) Fix the damn weapon overload 3, it's since months that program apply the 150% damage output, but do not apply the reactor cost and capacitor cost increase, thus making this program a mandatory.

by "co-pilot" im asssuming u mean ops, which, in all MP ships, doesnt actually do anything besides sit there; and as for captian, i think verbal commands arent fast enough for the gunner's to be totally effective, let alone trying to command a pilot

Found the issue, put an end to it. You will be able to move things up and down in your Y-8 in Pub. 24. Sorry it took so long to get to this issue and put it to rest.
