Hey Red, if you need any asteroid resources I can help you out, I have thousands upon thousands of them

My primary dislike is the sheer amount of carbonaceous asteroid used, as well as the Vehicle Restoration Kits still requiring too many resources.

Ever since the fix which required restoration kits to repair vehicles, the price for asteroid resources shot through the roof. For Wanderhome this meant a jump from 70 cpu to 200 cpu overnight. No miner in his right mind would mine anything other than petrochem and carbonaceous. I'm sure the price will come down a bit with the faster mining but these kits are always in huge demand and if it doesn't require fewer resources then it will still be the primary factor in the space mining economy.

In other words, there are a ton of master artisans out there who don't do a bit of space mining themselves. They'll be happy to pay 200 cpu for carbonaceous and petrochem and then charge the customers 400k creds for the vehicle restoration kits. That one single item makes it nearly impossible for shipwrights to compete for miners.

.. AND can we get a special POB droid that holds more droid chips ( so we can get a variety of shield configs in ) PLEASE !

We need MORE SPACE inside POBS for loot and decoration.

That would be like a 550 long lightsaber.

LOL nah wouldn't be that fast

Thinking about it some more: I think with elite POB weapons (quickshot upgraded) should do around 3.5k to 4k damage at a refire rate of 0.175. I think that would suit a POB ship ideally, especially when you consider that the POB ship will be manouvering and the people in the turrets need to combat the ship moving the turret (and yes my crew generally aim forward but it's still a nightmare).

Or does everyone think thats unreasonable?

Sounds unbalanced to me, but what do I know?

And the day the fix WO3 you wouldn't be able to use the weapons for more than 1 sec before your capacitor running dry anyway.

Will this publish have a fix for the Arc-170 graphics problem? Where one of the guns doesnt attach to the ship but hangs out in space for certain weapon types.

Wishful thinking: Can one of the rear turrets be eliminated and replaced with a second forward firing gun for the pilot?

Gotcha, but... new turrets? excellent, was a big blind-spot on the last model. Are there any pictures of the new Y-8 up?

I don't have pictures, but they're both on the front side about halfway down the ship covering a wide arc in front of the ship.

Just dropping by to confirm that ALL Y-8S, both current and newly acquired, are affected by the changes. You'll be able to move items up and down in the old ones, and they'll have the new turret spots.

As always, I will be watching this thread and others for your feedback and suggestions. Thanks for testing!

Hi there. The y8 is certainly a handsome ship, and the new changes sound great. But there is a snag for some of us:

I am an Alliance Ace, and I have a Nova. I am also a day-1 vet, and I have a SoroSuub 3000. I spent a lot of time getting the insides of these set up for role-play, and they are both cool.

But when I put components in my y8 and tried to launch, I discovered that I could not even launch it without gutting one of my other POB ships. This just is not right. It does not matter how nice the ship is if we have to get rid of another established ship. Clearing out the decorations and stripping off the components of my Nova is just not a reasonable requirement. It would be different if we were just talking about removing components from a single seater. But a lot of time and effort goes into setting up the interior of these ships.

I know some people will got 100 extra items this way, but it is the right thing to do. Give us another POB ship.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!

High armour? Is the DI in a POB vulnerable for some reason? I am rather fond of my 9.1 speed level 10 DI...
