Thread: As shipwrights, what do you dislike about ROTW
One thing I wouldnt mind seeing is that sence the new ships are quest only and as far as I know can only be done once I wouldnt mind seeing a option for shipwrights to create a chassis repair kit which allowed a shipwright to restore the hitpoints of the new high mass versions of the ship.
But the way this could be done is take the repair kit require a regular chasis simular to the ship body so say the high mass x-wing that you get from the quest would require a regular x-wing chasis to restore its hitpoints back to full. And simular things for the other quest versions of the new ships. I would think this would be almost a fair trade off and maybe give crafters a little bit of a market back with some of these new ship frames.
IIscander,
1) I haven't run any of the ship qwests yet, but from a business standpoint, a schematic would be nice.
As mentioned by another, to aquire the AV-21 took an Master Artisian to actually craft the item along with the resources needed. That would seem to be a reasonable course of action for the SW trade. This would allow for the Master SW to utilize the best resources at their current disposal and tailor it to the customer's needs along with making a sale. What better way to continue personalized customer service.
2) As others have mentioned here and in the pilot forums, the Y-8 is practually useless in its' current form. Getting the crew part is not as big as a concern as the ships inability to be used in the manner it was intended for.I'm just assuming one would "expect" the ship to be able to park in front of the astroiod and just blast away. A middle gunner slot under the bridge would makelife a bit easier.
3) The limitations of the non-mp cargo holds at 1k will not be too bad if the Y-8 is overhauled quickly. If that is not in the plans, then I think and increase in the cargo hold to 3k to 5k would be in order.
Just some of my thoughts from the last four days.

Need more storage space for yetmore materials... can you beg for the structure lot limitsto get upped to 15? *grovel*

The idea would be it has room for 500-1000 items. I'm trying to get away from more small homes placed everywhere and more toward an interesting new stucture.

Yes, that would be fantastic. Right now my resources occupy my main pack, and a corner of my shop, and all I build these days are chassis. Add to that storing components for RE, which I use a vendor for. It would be so nice to have a building in which I could just PLACE the items. This would be a remarkably useful addition.

I would drop to the ground and /worship devs if they gave us a hanger.
I'll match that and raise you "I'm not worthy!, I'm not worthy!"
-(merchant related): Items quit going off sale from vendors. -----Nerf Vendor Vomit.
-"Declassify" the schematics to the new ships.
-Nerf the aquiring of uber components by ground quests involving combat.
-We should be able to build anything we have to fight against; that includes gunboats, corvettes, ISDs.
-Hangers are a great idea.
-Put up a sticky post with pictures of ALL thetexture kits on ALL the ships.
---Would somebody please tell me how the heck to make "clicky" links?
---Until then, we shipwrights should all spam in Kachiro in protest of uncraftable ships. That would probably enwrath the CSRs.

I highly suggest that you DO NOT spam about this or encourage anyone else to spam/protest. This issue has been addressed to the developers in the best way possible.
