Thread: What do you, the producers, view as a Fair price for a Firespray?

I RE Loot for guild members at the moment, but anyone is free to come along.
the rules are: loot that you don't want - offer for 1 cred on the loot vendor
If you want the loot back after I've RE'd it, or see something on the vendor, it's yours free
If after a 3 week period, no-one has picked the loot up or said that they want it and it's already been RE'd, then I'll take it to the chassis dealer and donate proceeds to the guild.
The only thing I get is the FSE frag if it drops.

Hmmm maybe I should become a shipwright and re-grind BH when I get my KSE.

I know this most likely isnt an issue, but I see everyone is RE lvl 1 2 and 3 items, what about lvl 8-10? Is the chance of getting a disk higher? because thats what logic would say. Im not a MSW, but this is just an Idea on it.

Seen one on a vendor for 18mill. Therewere 4 before I got there o_0.

I didnt announce any of the ones I made. I put them on the vendor for 13 mill each.. all sold.

My drop rate for discs has been about 1 in 125. To date I've gotten 21 discs. I've been 1 disc away from my first schem for the last, oh... 10 discs or so (aargh, stupid disc 6).
So in my case, I'm about 2624 loot items in and no schem or disc 6 to see for it.
(And if anyone on Bloodfin has a spare disc 6, i have spare discs 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8)

I'd always run an Auction for the Firespray's, but set my minimum at at least 6-8 million. The difficulty in getting the schematics justifies the price.

so, to me it seams like amean price of 10million on all servers?
Key word, mean, average, not cruel.

I think it varies by server. Bloodfin seems to be selling them for 7M each. At first they were going for 12M each.
I have a feeling the price will stabilize to somewhere between 7M-8M.

I know that on Corbantis the average going rate is 10mil...if that's what you're asking.

Well the shipwrights don't determine the price - the consumers do.
There were posts in the Sunrunner Trade Forum saying "Looking for a Firespray - will pay 15M"
I put one on my vendor for 15M and it sold while I was out of town for Thanksgiving. So I guess the price was 15M.
If it never sold at 15M the market price would have been lower because I was obviously over it.
Producers may charge anything they want for goods - it's the buyers that determine the price.
