I like to add some more points..

10. The options to place harvesters got less and less each day because of growing houses and player cities. There are almost no more free spots to place them. As an artisan I wanna have the options to place my own harvesters so I don't need to buy the resources from huge guilds which occupy all the spots. And I also don't want to have a rush to find a good spot first each time the resources got shifted.
11. I wanna have also SW xps when I do reverse engineering

I would like to see Shipwright trainers in Player Cities. - NO - no real point to that, it takes too long to grind Shipwright so its a long time between visits to the trainer and Im not so lazy that I cant take time out to head into a big city to find him)

I would like to be able to convert Shipwright XP into Force Crafting XP. - NO HELL NO, leave the damn Jedi Out of it. They gave it all up to be a Jedi so be it. What the hell does building starships have to do with channeling the force

1. yes, right now this is a time sink unlike any other crafting profession

2. yes, no reason for them not to be, they are not story driven, and players can train other players

3. yes, no reason not to, this skill requires skill points should be treated like every other profession

4. yes, looted items after RE are superior to what we make

5. no

6. more of a pilot question, doesn't matter to us

7. non-issue, I think it is fine as is

8. definitely, or at least a remote management terminal, people need to be able to play with ship components in towns where shipwrights are. Or at least give us "mock " ship terminals where people can play around with loadouts.

9. too soon to tell, once people start PVPing for sure is when we will know. Most good people don't die often, in PVP they will.

    Nota SW, but heres what I have to say



    1. I would like to see increased factory support. - Not sure, I had a shipwright in Beta, and I can imagine the load
    2. I would like to see Shipwright trainers in Player Cities. - Why not, theres every other trainer in cities, and a lot of players don't like going to major cities due to lag or other inconviences, make training accessible to them as well.
    3. I would like to be able to convert Shipwright XP into Force Crafting XP. - Yes, every other kind of crafting is convertable, why shouldn't shipwright. However - wait off a while untill the business calms down.

    6. Mark V masses are too high.- Positively yes, masses are way to high, even on Mark IV items there needs to be a slight reduce, its getting hard to really customize a ship, rather having to fit in whats needed and deal with it.

      • I would like to see Flight Computers moved to Shipwright. - I don't really understand why their in DE in the first place, a DE doesn't necessarily know more about ship computers then a SW - Flight computers are computers, not droids

      • I would like to see a Player City starport. - Yes, at this time, most player cities are dead, or only used for vendors. Allow us to land and or travel into these cities and bring some of their funconality back into the game.
      • I would like to see a Player City starship terminal. - Same as above, no reason not to - let players hang out in player cities without having to give up the conviences of a NPC city

    9. I think decay is:

      • Too high.
      • Just right. - Its fine, infact might be a little to low on the chasis side. I predict SW's business is going to decrease rapidly very soon and many will find themselves in the hole.

    One thing not listed that Ive gotten more and more adement about is...


    Change the steel requirement to "ferrous metal" or better yet, "metal" for paint, texture and repair kits. To my knowledge EVERY scehm in SW is steel dependant, some more then 70k!!


    A simple change like that would help IMMENSELY toward making a depleting steel cache last longer. There are several metals in the game that are all but useless. Give us a place to use that Kelsh copper that just collects dust on my vendor at even 1.5 cpu.

    5. I believe resource quality does not have enough effect on item stats. It does but if changed proffession will need an apron. (pity wookiee shipwrights if it does)

    6. Mark V masses are too high. YES but but mass reduction subcomponenets should have a greater effect at reducing mass. Have HP's reduction stay same but reduce mass by 50%.

    This is not feasible the starports are fix same place on every server and player cities are not in same place or have same names. There are enogh bugs without adding more.
