Could someone please post an accurate duration time for each tent-style, and the amount of XP obtained from a full-term-expiration of them? So far I have these numbers, but I am not sure of how accurate they are:

Basic Camp: Duration - unknown, XP - unknown

Multiperson: Duration - 40 minutes (is this accurate?), XP - 810

Improved: Duration - 50 minutes 32 seconds, XP - ?

High Quality: Duration - 55 minutes, XP - ?

Field Base: Duration - ?, XP - ?

High-Tech FB: Duration - ?, XP - ?

Thanks,

Mauros

Improved - 1000 xp
HQ - 1100 xp
FB - 1250, 50 min 32 seconds

Not everything you wanted, but it's a start.

Basic 600

Multi 800

Improved 1000

High Quality 1100

These are the ones I have so I'm not sure on the 2 higher Ranger kits.

I'm at Frontiering 1 at 50% towards 2 and it's a royal pain in the bottom. I use a sample macro while camping but never tried a camp macro. Iwon't use one anytime soonthoughcause with 20 skillpoints left I gotta start taking it slow. I still haven't decided if I'll drop other skills and go for Master Ranger but right now I don't see much benefit to it.

I do look forward to the Field kit cause I've never seen one.

It may not be an exploit, but it is against the EULA to run macros unattended. Of course you probably already knew that...

Goodness Raverbane, that's alot of code.

Here's what I use:

/stand;/pause 5;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/ui action toolbarSlot04;
/ui action toolbarSlot05;
/ui action toolbarSlot06;
/ui action toolbarSlot07;
/ui action toolbarSlot08;
/ui action toolbarSlot09;
/ui action toolbarSlot10;
/pause 5;/sample;/pause 150;
/sit;/pause 5;/pause 150;
/ui action toolbarSlot00

Preparation - Have 9 camps on your hotkeys, 01 through 10, have your macro on hotkey 00. Survey before hand so sample works. Sampling keeps you logged in and busy. If you need it to last longer add more camps and more action entries.

Basically, you try to place a camp every 300 seconds. If one is placed, you'll just continue on. So the very longest you'll go without a camp is 300 seconds.

Ok. I have been macroing my way thru the 80k of camling XP's of fronteering 4. I play at very off hours and cant get into any of the big hunting groups that are so prevelant in peek hours.

This is the macro I have been using and it works flawlessly. you dont have to have any secondary macros running. This is it. Since the rare item aspect of foraging is bugged, never saw the reason to macro forage.

It is good for just over ten hours and I use it with high quality camps for 1100 a pop. I have the timing set up so a new camp is built 15 seconds after the old camp disbands. I threw in some pauses inbetween stading and sitting to accomodate for system lag. This macro is set up to be used with a full rack of camps on the lower toolbar.

Hi Ripchi, could you please post the passage in the EULA that says running the in-game macro unattended is not cool? I'm not being argumentative, I'm honestly curious because I've read it and can't find it. Cheers

That only applies to third party programs that perform 'macros' or key-presses. It is not referring to the built-in in-game macro system that they GAVE US TO USE.

RayBothan,

You are right on the money. What's the rush?

Is it just me or did they put in new code to slow us down? I wonder because between last nite and this afternoon, I got killed twice in a row with my probot guarding me. Hmmm, I'll keep trying as I shot off a few camps before each attack. It has been exactly 3 improved camps each time before the attack. And this is on Naboo where I've never had this happen before. Anybody else notice this, it could be a coincidence of course?

Need to train my dog to respond to attacks when Im AFK. Wish I was more of a CH in RL so I could teach her to spam my special moves until the fight music stops! Then again I wonder if THAT would be against the EULA?

Um, montyplease, your first mistake is camping on Naboo. You are better off picking a planet with fewer violent humanoid NPCs or creatures that wander (Corellia is good), being out of typical mission range from a town, and camping near a group of peaceful creatures. The system is dynamic spawn, and mobs will spawn near players after an amount of time. By camping near a non-mission lair of peaceful critters, you are significantly reducing the chance of a nearby spawn ofviolent creatures.

Is there a way to STOP a macro while its still running? I ask because I tried one of the macros above, but it seems I messed up with one of the commands at the beginning. Typed "/pause25", instead of "/pause 25". So then every once in a while my character will suddenly stop and sit down. Very inconvenient at times. Or is the only solution to log out and come back after your character has disappeared?
