Thread: From Novice to Master How to Become a Master Scout 5.0 (Post-CU Updated, 27 June 2005)
Well, I must say, this guide of yours is one of the most comprehensive guides Ive come across so far, U use simple, plain language which is easy to understand and u must be commended on that alone. It is clear and concise and uve managed to combine all u need to know in this one article. Hearty congratulations.

I'm thinking of a good camping macro to maximize your time...
How to run: Type "/macro CampMacro" Camps must be placed in all of your toolbar slots, and you must have just placed a camp.
How to run: This is used by the macro "CampMacro" and should not be used seperatly.

/attack;
Another little tip:
To get huge amounts of scouting and survival xp go on large hunting trips on dantooine or dathomir. Even if you suck in combat as long as your group kills it u can harvest.
AND
after getting said scout xp GET CREATURE HANDLER its really good for scout as you can use a lower level creature to stall for you at the low levels and a higher one at the higher levels. personally using a strong pet with at least 6k HAM on huurton matrons when you have trapping 3 is reallygood ![]()

so having read all that I have a question......
Survival xp...in the end what is the best way to get it? I see all the talk about groups and camping. But is crafting a better option? I mean I know the small camps give only like 30 xp and the multiperson gives only 65 or so xp. but at every 5 seconds that xp adds up quickly with a good crafting macro. So in one minute you can get over 700 xp in theory.
Are there traps that give more xp for wilderness than camps? Just curious, because it seems to me that crafting may be faster?
