Thread: SELL your HIDES and BONES as INSTANT TRANSACTIONS!
I dont see how you can think 300% is an okay, especially when you are suggesting how little a scout "spends" to get the item.
A scout must first find (or happen upon) the creature that they can harvest for the item. This can take a bit of time, given that a scout doesnt really have a device to tell them the location of said creatures (they must explore for them on their own) and quite a few of the spawns seem to move around. Then the scout must actually kill the beast, which isnt always a cakewalk, especially for those herds that will respond with a herd attack. After doing this for a while (to gather a respectable number of resources), then the scout must tromp back to town, which could be another 3000m or more. They must renavigate through all the reds again. Once they are finally in town they can sell their resources before, or after they visit the medic and entertainer (and tip them too (so that they dont complain and keep coming back). In some instances the whole trip might be an hour or more for those 100 resources.
So its not exactly free. And for an hours worth of time to get 400-500 credits, I might as well run in-town delivery missions.
Now the artisan can just buy the wares from the bazaar, craft the item (which takes what, 5 minutes max?) and put it up for sale again. Sure there are downtimes and the ramp up to get enough profit for resouces, but they can run in-town delivery missions as well while they are waiting. And theynever have to worry about getting killed while they are relying on the scout to supply their resources.
So I would like to know why the brunt of the price shouldnt be in the scout's end of the deal? Its simple risk and time spent vs. no risk and less time spent.
Hmm, 10-15 credits each? I guess I should bring that 1500 bones and 1000 hides out of my bank account them ![]()

Today I put up 25 units of bone for 500c.
It sold 2 1/2 hours later...
I did not know it would cost me 20c to bid. :-(
