All,

Thanks for the votes of confidence!

From what I've read on some of the other boards, not all of us have been so welcomed.

I'll give you guys updates as to what I'm sending to the Developers, as I do it. I plan on sending my first email with the list above this afternoon when I get back to my office.

To give you a little background on my character, I started playing the second day, and was hardcore Scout all the way. I made Master Scout on my 11th day playing, thanks to a sick day and the July 4th holiday.

My current stats are Master Scout, maxed everything but Carbine in marksman, novice medic, novice entertainer, novice artisan (up to survey 4 now), and I'm on the second tier of Ranger (except in traps where I'm halfway through 4).

I try to play the game a few hours each night and on the weekends, but during the day I'm on the forums.

One thing that would be great is if everyone could think about other things they'd like to see for Scouts, above and beyond the 5 that I've listed above.

Silver - your idea is part of my post about granting XP for Scouts who get off their butts and explore the galaxy. I'll post the full email that I send to the devs afterI send it out.

Thanks again for the support all!

One other issue i would like to see addressed is that differnet scouts can not ahrvest form the same corpse. Unless that is the harvest bug you mentioned

Someone mentioned a while ago that they saw on one of the loading screens that two scouts in a group are supposed to be able to harvest different items from the same creature. This has never worked so far, but it would be nice. At least three scouts in the group could get experience that way.

I would also be nice to have a harvestautosplit for groups so the hides could be split evenly amoung group members if it was desired.

Honestly, I'll be happy if they just fix mask scent.

On number 5 I think it wuold be nice for us to get "Scouting Missions" handed out like quests from the Scout trainerswhere, say, like the scount trainer on Correlia asked you to bring him 2 Naboo bones, 2 avian bones from Naboo, 2 tattoine bones, and 2 avain bones from tattoine and you get a little cash and some ScoutXP for it.

I wonder aout the Wilderness Survival XP as well. Up to Survival IV I was doing a lot of sampling so I had no problem getting survival xp because I would set up camp and sit there sampling for Ore. Now that I have maxxed Survey IV and set up a bunch of harvesters for the reources I need I hardly ever need to make camp anymore. Of course, if I was grouping a lot then I would be making more wilderness xp as I set up camps for medics to heal the group in. I figure thatis the price I pay for prefeering to solo mostly.

I think one of the major issues for scouts is no-build zones and camps. It is very frustrating to be out hunting and not be able to put a camp down because you are in a no-build zones.

I don't know if the Dev's could make it work but how about a bonus to the exp you get when you first visit a new planet. Say, for the first day or so you get a 15% bonus to all your scoutingexperience over what people from that planet get.

Welcome DeltaXi65 and good luck! I don't envybeing a correspondant and I hope that while you try to adequately represent Scouts that you also do not bear the brunt of people's frustrations with problems that they are having.

I've been in and outthe forums and not posting much. I have truthfully not had problems scouting. I am a solo scouter andhaven't had problems advancing.

I haven't had to use mask scent yet. So we'll see how that goes. My biggest gripes have been the stability issues.

Anyways, good luck!

Wooderson,

What exactly are wrong with the /maskscent and /throwtrap commands? I know the issues surrounding makscent, but I've not heard anything about problems with traps.

Thanks!

I couldn't agree more with #5. We should be getting scouting XP for being scouts...for exploring the terrain and being out if the city. I chose to be a scout because I love to explore and roam around, not because I like camping for 5 hours killing chuba and gnorts. Viva la corresondent!

I saw a thread somewhere where it was suggested that scouts should have the ability to track. It would be for creatures only, as that's primarily what our focus is out in the wilderness.

For example, I am primarily on Tatooine. Some of my big killing is Bantha. Depending on where I am, I find them in abundance, but other times, they are so scarce.

Rangers of course, would get better tracking ability, and it seems that bounty hunters have a limited tracking ability via droids, if I am not mistaken.

EXP could be sent to the scouting EXP table, as it would make sense for it to go there.

Thoughts, ideas?
