i found something this weekend. there are at least 2 different striped fish. i caught a yellow with red stripes one on Lok. i caught a yellow with gree stripes one on endor.

Sorry to ask this. But I searched for fishing bait in the bazaar and found none. There any available elsewhere? Thank you.

you can find bait by using /forage tho it might take a little while. once you find some bait, get a decent rod (i do well with my homemade 34%) you will have all the bait you need from the fish

It's tricky. There are places where you can get into the water and still drop a camp - if the camp drops in the water you're okay. But sometimes, it clears the terrain, including the water.
So yes, technically, you can, but it's not always a 100% sure thing to do.

I agree with u, this is a good thread.
All my friends dont put enough emphasis on fishing, but for me it is a welcome change from shooting n slicing up stuff...
In my experience it worked best when I do (TUG RIGHT or TUG LEFT) during a "Nibble" n (TUG UP) during a "Bite". This would kinda seem logical since u do a similar thing in real fishing...

Awesome fishing guide! It encouraged me to start fishing, and now I have 2 houses full of decorated fish 
Concerning stuck in run mode, you can usually fix it by holding shift and the arrow key (the direction that you're stuck running in). Usually works for me.

I found a spot with 5 star density, no vegetation, and able to drop a camp in water. If you're on Kauri, send a /tell and you can join me, I'll be here all day

This guide rules. I couldnt catch a fish for my life before. Now I am a fishing pro!
There is a puddle of water in our Player City on naboo that has a 5 star rating. I cant filet the fish though. No scout skills to speak of.

Awesome guide! Just tried my hand at fishing for the first time - lucky me, my house is about 20m from a GREAT fishing pond on Dant - 5* density, no vegetation! Loving it - I don't even have to leave home to kick back with some Jawa beer, relax, and fish to my heart's content.
Oh, and it's not bad quality now on Dant at the moment too...

Great guide, I'll try it out later, tried fishing for half a day and caught absolutely nothing couple of weeks ago, used a LOT of bait :/ hoping this guide'll improve my luck =)
some questions though..
- I've seen fish mounted on walls in cantinas, and they hardly have stairs, certainly not as high as I've seen 'em mounted.. does that mean a z-axis got included?
- is there a type of bait which is superior to the others?
- Did Mon Calamarians actually evolve out of fish ?

Yes - they added a Z axis a few months back. Use the /move up and /move down commands to use it.
Nope - bait is bait is bait. All works the same.
As for your third question...
