So, ignoring number 2 and looking at number 1 I would say that getting paid to kill NPCs who are prominent to there particular faction, then you are in fact assassinating them. In fact this goes even further and suggests by using a suprise attack, well conceal shot pretty much surprises them as they dont know where it came from. And by prominent that does not have any political connection, it could be a famous music/movie star etc..

I disagree with your interpretation of the definition. The term "assassinate" implies a more prestigious kill. Yes our "missions" are to kill NPC's, but I would argue that they are more related to Mob (Mafia) Hits (contract killings). This would then suggest that the title should be Hitman!

I still believe Waste93 summed it up the best.

Oh and MSPO....reconnoiter is a VERB, you can't use that as a title (a NOUN or ADJECTIVE). I'm sorry to be so literal but the the title would have to be reconnoiterer.

It might be a better idea to move "Sniper" from the accuracy branch and make it the "Concealment" branch title.

In the "Accuracy" branch put "Sharpshooter" and for Master box put "Rifle Master"

So Klaw, what is the top vote in your opinion so far? Seems like a lot of shouting by all parties involved and no clear leader to me.

It's hard to say, all good points and alot of great ideas.

Well soldiers also get paid to simply exist no matter the state of war, get free housing, free weapons, free armor, free vehicles and yet I don't see anything like that happening in the alliance. In order to get something you have to do something aka kill stormies. Really the point is moot since I wouldn't wear assassin anyway and prefer your previous idea of almost completely re-arranging things. But...

Having a paid contract to kill this certain person/group and get paid a certain amount is not something the army would do. You get a mission that involves whacking Castro you don't get any added benefits for doing your duty. Of course you may get patted on the back by some high ranking brass or something but they aren't going to slip $10,000 to your bank account. If, on the other hand, you're a mercenary/hitman and you are given 10k to go off a guy you are assassinating him making you an assassin.

All in all if its the top request it should be Ghost, I think we should have another thread for voting on the top requests.

Ghost - 10 requests
Assassin/Silent Assassin - 8/5 requests (13 total)
Predator - 6 requests
move "Sniper" from the accuracy branch and make it the "Concealment" branch title.

all the rest where 4 or less.

Even though I see the last one as a little bit of a "give an inch, take a mile syndrome", I say put the 4 (5 if you split assassin) in a thread and get votes and no comments like Waste93 suggested, it should be about what the most people want, not what some people don't want.
