Thread: Current Issues *11-11-03*
I have read though a little more than half of the lists. They are redundant in many ways right through to where everyone starts complaining about the fact that they are redundant and no one is listening. No one is listening because you aren’t hitting the right issue. However… A few people have hit on the point on the head. RANGE.
I could care less about the 2.5x multiplier but 64 meters can be closed before I get a second shot.
I could care less about the HAM cost and rarity of the T21 but I cant kill my target because 64 meters can be closed before I get a second shot.
I could care less about a 3 second max but 64 meters can be closed before I get a second shot.

The devs have done a great job setting the rifleman apart from all the others except he has a very short range. Here is what I would like to see done:
Give us weapon power-ups that are REAL scopes that double our range.
I would like to see the choked field of vision, the cross hairs, and all the ups and downs that go with it...
Leave HAM costs and all the other bs just like it is but let me shoot some bounty hunter from 100 meters out. I would love to partner up with three or four sniper buds and pick off unsuspecting imps from outside an imp OP while they shop for missions. If they get wise jump on some mounts and ride out to where we are then they deserve to have an easier time slaughtering us at close range. But right now EVERYTHING is close range.
True Statements:
I am extremely vulnerable at close range.
I am fairly effective at long range.
The default radar is twice as far as I shoot.
Combat Medics throw further than I shoot.
Anyone can run 64 meters in no time at all.
All this equals – I need more range…
With that said I believe that the reason why this hasn’t been done already is due to the game system’s mechanics… ie… MOBs can’t target from that distance so it is easily exploitable… etc… If this is the case then I would like to plead with the developer and ask them to feel free to at least experiment with this idea to see if there isn’t a way…

1. RANGE - If CM's can throw poison 70M, then we definitely need to be able to shoot further.
2. RANGE - If a pistol can shoot as far as a rifle, then something is wrong.
3. RANGE - Do theyknow how close 64m actually is? We practically touch our target with the tip of a T21 at that close up.
These are my top priorities for now.
Oh, I forgot to mention : RANGE
PVP-GIMPAGE you must blow monkey nizos if a Post-Nerf T21 one shots ya![]()
CM's range is getting reduced a touch in teh next patch I belive.
1. Krayt T21's that needs to be addressed
2. How can Pistoleer's stand side by side a Rifleman both at max range? Pistol = Short range, Rifle = A little bit more distance than a pistol atleast!!!
