today i soloed my first NS elder, i used the concealshot tactic and all i can say it this:

my suggestion for the next correspondent is to have a "template questions" stickied thread. That way if someone has a template question they can look through the thread or just ask the question in the thread, and people can post answers there.

I am so sick of seeing "What do you think of this template" posts. It's almost as bad as the "How much is this pike worth?" posts on the pikeman boards.

well, today is my last day everyone. And Pysco, I only have 19 more posts to go! heh, I never thought I'd make it but it's looking like I've got a shot at it now. I'll have my last post in here, but I needed 20 more posts so I figured I'd post this now anyway.

I wish you all the best of luck in the future. I'll probably browse the forums every once in awhile, to at least see if you guys get a correspondent before that summit thing. Skel Etor is set to be executed on February 6th (6 months from today) so I have until then to appeal his case and bring him back. We'll see how it goes. If JTL is really good I'll probably be back, but I'm having doubts as to how they will pull it off without lag issues. Plus there will be some other games I'm going to want to try out in the fall (Fable, Halo 2, Half Life 2), but, I did enjoy galaxies while I was here, so who knows, maybe in 4 or 5 months I'll get the itch to play again.

Sorry if I've posted like 3 farewell posts, but it's tough to leave

Seriously though, I'm going to miss the forums way more than I'll miss the game, hehe. So I'll be back one last time for my 1337 post, until then, laters

i got back into the game after a forced vacation... did we ever set up an actual hall??? if so where and is it still there???

Nope, but with character copy coming soon I figure it'd be easy to actually do one. I mean how hard is it to come up with 500k (figure increased cost for TC, plus a month or so maint) with a master rifleman? I mean I could do that on a starter planet well within a day.

heck even just starting out with unarmed i made 100k in a day in like3 sets of buffs... but even with concealshot with a good laser rifle quenkers die quick or torturs if ya like talus... 6k missions and one moun ya can do 2-3 missions...

I wanna know...who here has been a riflemen since they started playing the game. From day one of the game I started with my crappy newbie stick just like the other couple of thousand people coming into the game. Yeah...those were the good old days, when someone mastering one branch of a profession was a big deal...and hunting desert razorbacks and rontos was good xp. In a way, I miss that time...all these 14-day trial account people are funny. I had a new player come up the other day insulting me with his wooden axe and wanted to duel me...so I popped his head in two shots : ). Ah well, I think this is a great thread for riflemen.
