I wanna know...who here has been a riflemen since they started playing the game. From day one of the game I started with my crappy newbie stick just like the other couple of thousand people coming into the game. Yeah...those were the good old days, when someone mastering one branch of a profession was a big deal...and hunting desert razorbacks and rontos was good xp. In a way, I miss that time...all these 14-day trial account people are funny. I had a new player come up the other day insulting me with his wooden axe and wanted to duel me...so I popped his head in two shots : ). Ah well, I think this is a great thread for riflemen.

To be honest, I could not wait for that. I have a mirrored toon with 2 alts, one will be a WS/Chef, the other the slicer. A few of the WE guys from Wanderhome started a little "village" there and a few rangers came allong. There is an architect in the works in our little group and we might be ably to do something soon. Costs are actually LOWER on TC as it's mostly barter system there. No one duped and the money is a bit hard to come by. Some of the new vendors TRY to sell at the "live" prices and go broke trying: no one can buy brandy at 4k a bottle. The old timers have resigned themselfs to the fact that you won't make your "uber killer money making" on TC.

Nope, but with character copy coming soon I figure it'd be easy to actually do one. I mean how hard is it to come up with 500k (figure increased cost for TC, plus a month or so maint) with a master rifleman? I mean I could do that on a starter planet well within a day.

well i got a toon on tc2... a very new one, still on the shuttle... i got a holocron a work of art and a picture for him though... so hes been made but never been played... i could go through the TK profession again in s couple days (dreads the novice tka grind)... i'm bored and need something to do in the game... from my experiances on tc the ppl there have always been helpful and alot of things you can get for free or dirt cheap...
i say matering tk fist cause its alot cheaper... one set of VK's and beserk good to go till novice tka... everything else is basically profit... then with a couple boxes in tk dizzy/kd janta's for 15k per mission... really doesn't take long...
but i said before pick whatever server ya wanna build this on and ill front the hall and some of the furnishings... /wonders if the vote poll i put up forever ago is still in the system
and even while waiting for clone you can build a temp toon and just look around then reroll when clone comes in...

TC2 is more of an instant testing server. I would recommend TC1 for this instead. TC2 is also prone to not being up except when they want to test something. TC1 is pretty much always up. Or at least as much as a TC is up.

Same here. I started on TC1 about a month ago. I'm having fun again.
