Thread: Petition for a new Team Lead.
I am glad you 2 think you are the ultimate connisseurs of what xx will do to a rifleman and what xx wont do master or non.
THAT AINT YOUR JOB.
Your job is to relate to the devs what the "community" not what 2 guys who think they are the only 2 master rifleman on the all the servers think.
Your job isn't to think. Your not a dev, your not a programmer, your a liason between US and the devs. Your OPINION doesn't hold any more than weight than ours.

I am so entirely glad they hold this one month and rotate policy. And I sincerely hope they stick to it, so one persons cockabrainy ideas of what a rifleman should be is not all the devs are hearing.
But I want someone who gets the effin JOB DONE. Not sit back and watch as our characters get nerfed into oblivion. Seriously. I have dealt with team leads before and if our team lead thinks nothing gets accomplished with what he givesSOE then he should say I dont want the job.
Agreed. When we b*tched about how the T-21 damage got nerfed Aldeon said stuff like "Well guys, its ok.. its balanced".
Now we've got LLC's doing 10k damage per shot, unsliced.
Thats cause Aldeon can kill anything in game and anyone. He is the lone master rifleman in all of swg and knows whats best for all of us.
Like I have been saying and the reason for this thread.
His month has come and gone lets get a new one in please.
First things first. Hawkenz... You are an Idiot!!!! You have spent all this time whining and crying about things that Aldeon hasn't done. I GUARANTEE you would do no better. He could send reports in every **edit** day and it would change NOTHING. The Devs will reply and fix the bugs, or swing the Nerf bat, when they darn well feel like it and your ranting and raving and calling for Aldeon's head is NOT going to make a difference. You're so smart? Fine. All this Bitching and Moaning about the bad job Aldeon's doing and I haven't seen one idea as to who would be a good replacement for him. I can't believe that this game is less then 3 months old and people like you are already freaking out. It is going to take TIME to fix the issues that are here. What is needed are positive comments, not reckless bashing of people who have NO control over what is fixed and when.
I've been looking at these message boards since the middle of June, It's people like you that finally made me register so I can comment about things like this. What is needed is PATIENCE, the realization that none of this whining is going to make any changes happen any faster.
It is asad thing to see some childish, petty, big-mouthed trash talker, blaming all the issues that the rifleman class has on the the correspondent, who has no control over it, then on the shoulders of the Developers where they belong. If you don't like the way the rifleman class is going, I hear the Pistoleer class has some openings....
And my hat comes off to you Aldeon, for putting up with crap like this....
I do agree that its out of Aldeon's hand...but mmmm lighten up dude...
ranting is fun...thats one of the reason for the boards....sheesh
You are probably right, it justirritates meto see someone going off on somebody, anybody, else for issues that are not even nearly within their scope of control. As if all the yelling is going to accomplish anything...

If your that friggin' unhappy either A. Reroll Pistol B. **edit** and kill enough stuff to make master.

Ummm hey firstofall i would like to say, Aldeon, u have been
great with yah advices and such...But your questions of
"how are we being nerfed???"...i thought u have been monitoring
this board??? Did the messages you have been reading got erased
from yah memory the second u read it??? I know some of
these posts are b*thes and rants and whines but stillsome are very
valid. Or should we have said "We as Novice and Expert Rifflemen
are being nerfed - Master Rifflemen Please Disregard"
What i want to say has already been said by Hawk so i wont repeat...

Of course some of the nerfs were not RIFLEMEN specific...
But...
The accuracy nerf hit us.
The knockdown hit us.
It doesn't really matter if it was class specific or not and I think thats the BIG point you are missing here. The facts are on top of all the nerfs that just "happened" to affect us they affected us in a major way, AND WITH the 2x modifier which we are the only class that gets this it is a pretty hard nerf of the entire class when you add em all up.
Not including the warping mobs, the T-21 damage reduction, the supposedly "no big deal" boost to commandos, and the stutter step fire its like we have to play with a crutch compared to some other classes.
The rifleman even at MASTER (where the only REAL significant difference is rate of fire) is not THAT great and the pvp affects of it all put together basically slammed the class fairly quick.
