I agree with all of them, but 9a is what Ive said on more then one ocassion and I couldnt agree with that more.
Also, if were going to have a sniping line, could we at least have an ability that removes out red dot from radar. How are you supposed to be a sniper when everyone knows where you are all the time. That could be a stealth skill. As for the sniper suit (ghuillie sp?) that allows us to hide from visual scans, I think thats more then fair if it makes it so we cant wear armor. Mabey make us transparent at ranges past 30 meters or something.
Strongly agree with 2, 4, 5 , 6, 7, 8, 9ab
1-fixed pistol accuracy at long ranges, not our accuracy
3-we dont need dmg boost, pistol dmg/speed needs nerf that's all
10-strafe shot 2 is fine
11-reducing pistol accuracy/range would be better
I, being a master rifleman who actually has strafe shot 2, STRONGLY dissagree with point 10.
For those who don't have it, Strafeshot 2 is an EXTREMELY high damage Cone of effect shot that affects a random pool. When I say extremely high damage, I mean just under twice the damage of headshot 3, and it's a conic affect. I could not (in the interest of a balanced game) ask for a better attack. This shot is also GODLIKE in PvE if you're with people other than rifleman, finally we get a high damage attack that can affect the health pool.
Trust me, the in game description does not do strafe shot 2 justice, it does NOT need to be improved.
TheNimbus, i believe that Aldeon will be providing us with threads specific to each of these issues soon, where we can debate them. This is just a pre-test to see basic approval.

Read that. Then think to yourself what class you are. Then read it again.
Are we commandoes using flamethrowers? No. Are we carbineers using fully automatics? No. Are we using shotguns? No.
We........... are.......... RIFLEMEN!!! We use RIFLES! Our attacks should match this. I personally believe that an AOE attack is STUPID and that instead we should have the damage potential that SF2 does and focus it down to damage on a SINGLE target that hits the mind (ie: headshot4 which would be like twice as powerful as HS3).

1. I agree. Fix accuracy. Not sure exactly how, but fix it. 45-64 with +0 standing/both participants not moving would be terrific but I do not think it's very likely. Perhaps 50-64.
2.Disagree. Maybe some sort of slider would be good, but it doesn't fit in the design of the game as I see it now.. more trouble than it's worth, for them and us alike I think, it would end up as another variable in our myriad of VERY SMALL problems (excluding the annoying t21 bug)
3. I hope you're kidding. I do MORE than adequate damage with a laser rifle, imagine if you had an UNbugged T21 rifle? Haha. People who have experience with this should voice their opinion also.. I've tried every rifle minus the t21, and we are fine as far as I can tell (10k mobs dying in 25-30seconds. . . with AR2 and 30%+ resists) Let's just say our damage is FINE, even compared to master in other weapon classes which I have competed and exp'd with. You other guys want more damage? Fine, but not across the board, fix the T21.
4. DLT20a should not get an AR increase. E11 covers the "fast but AP" part, I wish it had the damage of a DLT20a, or perhaps 1 more AR as it is now it can't really compete vs a laser rifle (both damage sliced). It does come close though.
5. I like this idea, but a lot of possible problems, conceal+AE attack, conceal+bleeds, you would be more unstoppable than you already are. I can use this to kill most mobs btw, just que up about 30 and go afk while it plunks away, couldn't on a dark jedi knight though, as he had 25k HP and 90% resist all AR 3 if I remember right... so I had to bleed him. Worked like a charm. Conceal is fine as is.. a situational skill.
6. I would like to know what "concealment" does also.
7. +20 melee D is not a big deal, people worry about it more than they should I think. Though +20 ranged D would be lovely, +20 melee D just may be that x factor in a group hunting expidition when a mob jumps on you, even if you have avery bad melee damage penalty.
8. It's a DB, your opponent isn't fighting back, but they are lying down. Don't care either way I find it sufficient, I shoot a "special" every 2 seconds at master rifleman and haven't had too much trouble missing with this from 45-65 yards out kneeling.
9a & 9b. I do believe knockdown needs to be reviewed, but we do not have a single target/skill knockdown as far as Ihave found, so why are we worrying about this as rifleman? Flurry, while somewhat mundain now would be incredible if supression fire worked. I just think knockdown needs retooled completely.
10.While another mind shot or head shot would be nice... I am very happy with strafe shot 2 as it is now, to the person who said "Look at what you are" let me remind you that this is infact a fantasy game. In real life a rifleman can hit targets much farther than 64 meters, we are not in real life. We are shooting laser blasters, A rifleman doesn't necessarily need to be a sniper either. Firing a volley of shots at someone is a very valid tactic and last I checked our title was rifleman, not sniper. I love strafe shot 2, love love love love love and I believe most of you who get to master rifleman will love love love love love it too.
