The fastest you can fire is one shot per second.

Ok quick question. Im still confused about rifle speed. I understand all up to +95 but what if you go over that. Will you fire even faster? In otherwords, what is the max speed you can have because i see a ton of rifleman snatchin up speed tapes that will putthem over +95.
Thanks
nice guide btw
so yes - if you have a slow rifle and a huge time multiplier special (ie: SS2) then more speed helps make you hit the cap of 1 shot per sec.
generally 97speed will cap you with most rifles in the game when using the slowest special. to make sure you always hit cap 100 speed is best.

It is listed on the Master Weapons List (link in sig). I believe that the weapons was originaly a Commando weapon from Beta though.

Also could you add the beam rifle to your list of certs - even though the cert is broken. (I really want the beam rifle to work - no matter where the cert goes!)

rifleman also have access to
Overcharge Shot 1
master marksman/rifleman have access to
aim
threaten shot
warning shot
suppression fire 1 - this attack can work to make dizzy foes flip flop, since ones that want to hit you with a weapon will stand up and you can move away from ranged ones and they stand up.
overcharge shot 2
Also could you add the beam rifle to your list of certs - even though the cert is broken. (I really want the beam rifle to work - no matter where the cert goes!)

Agreed Ive fired one concel shot & Ive fired 20 & its triggered different reactions. Seems to be the more aggressive the more likely to respond.
This is mostly based on Ravenous Tortons mind you

This is a very informative thread. I still have a question that hasnt been brought up yet. Surprise Shot. The faq says it's broken because you can use it uncovered. But neither the game nor anywhere else I've looked has said what Surprise Shot is supposed to do. I used it on some Hurton Stalkers with my T21 today after earning Sniping III and it didn't apear to do anything. Allit seemed to dowas a double tap which did around 1000 damage, which is about the equivalent of 2 decent shots. So is Surprise Shot just a double damage special? Heck why don't I just use Flurry or Flush?
On another noteOvercharge Shot 1 is disapointing, it does less damage than other specials and drains your weapons life. Seems worthless. I don't have the skill points available to be Master Marksman because I'm also a Teras Kasi Master, Explorer (Scout) and working on First Responder (Medic). Is Overcharge Shot 2 much better? Should I really go for Master Marksman? I'm trying to begoodbalanced fighter. TK and Rifle seem to have the best of both worlds.
[Edit] I got my answer in another thread, Surprise Shot does nothing and noone knows what it was supposed to do, maybe they'll fix it in the combat revamp.

It seems that rifleman can be very inferior during Pvp. Any suggestions on how to gain the edge on melee guys?

Keep your distance. Try to stick a Stun on them since it reduces their defenses and makes them easier to hit.

Thanks for the FAQ Waste!
I plan to have Master Riffle(4343) and Master Ranger(DONE!) with Novice Medic plus one box(not sure which to keep yet, speed of healing or amount of healing?)
So, I have two questions. The first applies to the statemnt above. Which box in Medic do I keep? 1XXX or X1XXX
The second question refers to the fact that I will have a speed of 90 when I have finished. What is the easiest and best way to get a higher number in speed? I've read a little about AA's and CA's but I'm not sure if I can use them or not. Can anyone just use them on any piece of clothing or armor they wear? Do you have to buy a piece of armor that has "special" speed properties?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

you can put them in any piece of clothing or armor that has open slots in it. when you examine a peice of clothing/armor it will tell ya they range from 1-4 I would try to buy clothing attachments as armor tends to wear out fast. if you do put it in armor, and you mostrly kill creatures, put it in a mabari armor belt. if you plan on killing people, put it in gloves, and wear biceps and bracers. also, very Important, you can only put one of the same type of AA or CA in a particular piece of clothing. If you try to put a +4 rifle speed CA in a shrt, and the try to put a +5 in the same shirt, the +5 will overide the +4 and you will only get +5 riflespeed from that shirt. so spread your attachments out!

in medic If i could only get one box I would put it into speed... better to heal quick and little less then not be able to heal when you need it.

You can put them into any appropriate item that has sockets. Most items do have sockets but you'll have to look at them to make sure.

Thanks for the responses! I appreciate all the people in here that are sharing and teaching others what they have learned.
Besides a "shirt", what other clothing can I wear under my armor that I can put CA's on?
On the Marbari Belt, is this considered armor? Do you suggest putting the attachment there because the decay rate is lower (for some reason) than on other pieces of armor?
So, animals won't hit a belt and/or people won't hit your hands? Or is it just less likey either of the two will happen?

Just dont let them get up on you, use flushing shot to Stun them and then Either Strafe Shot 2 or Head Shot 3 depending on their HAM.
