Today there was a big PvP battle in the city that I live in. Of course there were about 10 enemy Jedi Knights there =(.. Anyway, I bust out the rifle and get a lucky Headshot 3 in on this one Jedi Knight. He's fully buffed with 2 brandys yet he still goes down in one shot! I must have seen -1400 fly above his head

And some puny fencer said they can beat me.I have Melee Mitigation 2 bro and I can heal dizzy/intimidate/disease/fire/poison.. bring it on

Besides the ludicrously overpowered Jedi class, all combat professions are judged by what weapon they carry. Six months ago, did you even think twice before charging at a master pikeman? Hell no. Pikemen were rarer than Jedi back before they gave out free holocrons. Six months later, you're running with your tail between your legs because that same pikeman that you sent to the cloner now has 3 looted 500 strength 99% potency mind fire pikes with your name on them.
Well.. I can tell you, people get skerd when they see me. I'm just your every day Rifleman/Doc, except for one thing. I own the only BFG (Big F****** Gun) on SWG. I've searched. No other server has the equivilant as to what this gun has to offer. Yes, it is unsliced and I don't use a powerup on it. I also wear about 50 mill worth of attachments to help with defenses, accuracy, and I'm capped out on speed. This picture was not edited. If you make a character on Bria, I can show you the weapon in the trade screen.
I've been using this gun for about 2 months now. A full day of PvPing will take it down about 10 condition. I've done over 1200 damage to someone with a 90% energy composite helmet, though I don't think he had ranged mitigation.
Here it is. Your moment of Zen

go to TC-Bria and slice the thing. Also, you run from pikemen? pfff

I don't run from anything =P

I did go on TC-Bria and sliced it. Luckily, I got a high damage slice and it is up to around 950-3718 damage with a powerup. I was "cutting swaths" through groups ofpeople in Theed.

How do you have Mitigation 2 when you are a Rifleman/Doc? Also, look at the range mods on that T21, if you come across someone with the right template and they TEF close to you you are not going to hit them. My PvP character has 125 ranged defense, 125 dodge, and ranged mitigation 2, always running CoB with a stun baton. The first thing I would do is blind you and then intimidate (or warcry, intimidate, then blind), bringing your accuracy down by about half, then you'd bave 90 accuravy vs. 125 ranged defense and 125 dodge. Forgot to mention I also have +95 def. and up vs every state in the game (except intimidate) so that puts Flurry and Flushing shot out of the question. You could try and intimdate me but when you use a ranged weapon your character stops to animate it, at which time I would be all over you like stink on sh!t, Dizzy+Posture Change, (lets not forget Thakedio doesn't work against posture changes, only KD attacks). Even if you did have melee mitigation 2, I'd like to see you mitigate a 300 minimum damage stun baton (which cuts right through stun armor on non-melee opponents) or 111-216 damage night sister vibro knuckler, and don't forget you don't get the toughness from a melee profession when using a rifle. And I also get a to-hit chance when fighting a ranged opponent. Sure if you hit me it would hurt, even through a 90% energy helmet and Ranged mitigation 2, but thats what synth steak is for

So just because you got a big gun doesn't mean you are good in pvp in anyway.

I want that thing

whats really cool about that is, a TKM hides behind a wall to avoid being pwned. you run up to smite him, DIZZY KD, your on the floor and he head hits you to death cuz riflemen have 0 defence

Hahahahaa. Bro, you are seriously underestimating me. All of the best PvPers are on Bria. I've NEVER had a problem with a fencer.. even with all those stacked defenses. My combat rating is near 1900 and I mainly PvP alone, not in a group.

If you wanna come on TC-Bria remake your character, I can supply you with some premiumstun armor, food, etc.. to try your template on me. Send me a PM.

Uh.. dude fencer really sucks in PvP. I am a master rifleman and to this day cant say I have been beaten by a fencer. I unlike the poor saps you face in PvP have 40 stun armor and a 45% psg.

As far as the gun goes, I have seen better and it doesnt matter. In this game PvP does not require 'skill'. What it does require is the person with the best equipment/weapons and the ability to mash buttons really fast.

As for 'What makes a rifleman?" the answer isnt having an uber gun, its being able to understand every aspect of your profession and use it to it's full benefit.

True.

However, yesterday I talked with the guy whom I bought the rifle from and he said that it was looted from just a regular 10k-20k HAM Singing Mountain Clan NPC.
