Wanna duel? I'll kneel and spam shots at you. We'll see how far your 'strategy' gets you. This isn't turn based RPG combat, this is whoever shoots the fastest and does the most damage, combat.

Any time. and I'll win everytime...you know why... I'll bust out my stun baton....i might not hit you for much damage...but you wont hit me for **edit**...ill tank your ass and youre accuracy (even if it is maxed) will go to **edit**...

Bro, Fencer is worthless. If you think doing 10 damage per hit to me is going to do eventually beat me, you gotta be kidding. All fencers have been a joke since they fixed scatter hit. What server do you play on by the way?

Yes, it is a nice gun. No need to brag about it though-it's just as easy to use as any otherweapon.Bet you'd be prettyhumbled when someone with the right DoT rifle comes along with buffs/armor/synthsteak/PSG and is able to take some shots from you whilethey land that Mind Fire and /burstrun away. Not the most brilliant tactic or the most 'honorable', but it's the same as spamming SS2 or HS3with a 2k max rifle A faster, more powerful weapon makes things easier, but that will never guarantee a win.Nor will it ever 'make' a Rifleman. And that's a good thing

I'm also a doctor, so that wouldn't be much of a problem.

Which has nothing to do with being a Rifleman. Which is what I thought this was about. If you wanna show off your rifle, go ahead. Just don't gothinking it makes you a better Rifleman than anyone else, ok?

stop being so jealous and just admit that unless you happen to have a better t21, if you face off against him, he will own you. fencer? pssh.. i used to be a fencer witha 378 dmg stun baton (400 something poweruped), u know how much i hit for against people who wore stun psgs and stun armor? abtou 10 pts of dmg. scatter hit got nerfed, and nerfed hard. cho mok? still hits for a pansy amnt. besides, intimidate and stun > fencer. so all that rifleman has to do (if you want to get specific and make sure he doesnt use intimidate- a non rm attack), hit u with flurry (or flushing, w.e) that makes u get stunned, then he has a choice of ripping out your torso with strafe, or sending your brains into orbit with headshot 3. nuff said.

well said...btw as a rifleman....what other skills do you have...cause i'm sure if you don't stack your defense....a tkm will land intimdate on you and then a dizzy and KD with no problem....so....that rifle really wont do you much good if you're lying flat on your back....

I'm MR/MAS. I don't PvP more than maybe 1% of the time and only when with friends(because I do it for the fun ). I have no doubt I'd be Intimidated/Dizzy/KD at my opponents first opportunity. However, despite the weakness of my 'template', I have enough brains to stay alive long enough todispatch 3+(to be honest, this is being very conservative)enemies before I am killed.I just cannot stand the wannabe '1337 Pwnerz' and anyone else that thinks they are, in any way at all, better than other people.

So youre a fencer? Unfortunately my post ended up under yours, but it was meant for the fencer who claimed he cannot be hit and can beat the person with the exceptional t21 in a duel. I for one, am quite jealous of his T21; not brooding hatred, but merely friendly envy. kplzthxbye, enjoy.

Quotes help you avoid embarassing mix-ups like this

Sorry I misunderstood you. However, if a melee player can Dizzy/KD a MD/MR, they have won. Except that there is the convenient /stand, /healstate macro that cures it(as I understand it, it is not intended to function as it does).

P.S. It's not nice to mock people that misunderstand your post due to a mistake on your part. Just some friendly advice

Even a dizzy/kd is not a guarantee. I recently had a battle where it started with 1 melee type on me as a master rifleman/scout/merchant... The first dizzy/kd hit me and I was able to stand up within 3 seconds. By the time I was taken down it took 3 melee types on me at once to wear me down enough to kill me. I stood back up after dizzy 3 times in that fight and they had to take me standing instead of laying down or flopping.... it's all about your defenses and foods. I started with nice buffs, a mind buff, brandy and my favorite food vs melee types.. Thakitillo.

No, I am not saying I am the ultimate PvPer, nor that I win very often especially 1 on 1 fights...usually just the opposite in fact, but you dont need doc and /stand;/healstate dizzy; to deal with a melee type, everything has a counter either in food, buffs, equipment or tactics.

Typically, it takes me10+ tries to stand up from Dizzy(unless I just have really bad luck or PvE dizzies are better than PvP ones). If you know that you will have to worry about Dizzy or KD in PvP,I agree that having the food should help tremendously. However, as I said, if they make it stick, it should be over. If not, they likely need more practice

Yeah the Thakitillo is a big help, I was still dizzy when I got back up each time... but you can take a bit of beating while laying down with good armor and buffs... 1 wasn't a problem, I was holding my own, the second started hitting me and I was still keeping going with heals, when the third moved in it was officially an "issue"...

Best solution to this I think is to not "solo" in PvP get a good mix of ranged and melee and support classes and learn to work as a team... having that uber rifle out there as ranged support would be a dream for a good team, would make it -very- hard to take down with equal numbers or even moderately superior numbers.

Exactly. Any Rifleman that knows their role will be able to get rid of enemies pretty quickly if they have good melee support Last time I dared to PvP, the sides were close to even(numerically speaking).Everything wasgoing great(for us)until the other people started DoTingour meleers. When they all died, the ranged supporters didn't last long after that. Group stuff usually results in lots of fun though- which is what the game is really about
