Mindshot with a T21 is your friend. Land one and run for cover. Tonight, I think I may of only gotten knocked down once. It's a beautiful thing.

You just dont listen at all Tek. We dont give a rats a$$ that you dont think rifle should have a AE, if you dont want to use it fine by me. Why you think the profession should be changed to suit you is laughable.

You obviously dont listen worth a rats a$$ either. Read my lastpost again. If you STILL cant figure out what the subject is, get a 3rd grade reading level education.

Actually Tek I think he fully understand it. He said in there, that some classes are better in the begining only to be passed later on when other classes get higher.

Try going against this CH on Flurry server... Master CH... Pistoleer, spams knockdown and has an AT-ST for a pet... got it once the faction costs went down.

How do you figure?

A pistoleer gets knockdown at 0/0/1/0. That means that at 0/0/1/0 and up, a pistoleer is better than ANY level rifleman (even a master rifleman). The only time this WASNT true was before the patch when we had a chance to do a one shot kill.

Maybe im missing out on a vital tactic that you two are aware of. Apparently, most of the people who are posting here are missing it too. Aldeon, how are you able to kill people when your lying on your back?

Im sorry but i have to agree with TEK

Yourself, Alderon said that you have to Master Rifleman to be able to PvP.

Well, sorry to say, but the statement alone tells why TekDragon is CORRECT

We shouldnt have to be a Master of any skill to be able to play PvP, where is the balance, i like to PvP but where is the attraction for me if i know all im going to do is die???

I can certainly understand if its a Master Rifleman taking on a Novice Rifleman i would expect the Master to win hands down, however if a Rifleman is 3/3/3/3 and a pistoleer is 0/0/1/0 and the pistoleer wins there is clearly something wrong with this.

The rifleman is more advanced and thus should win, but is this the case?

I agree Tactics areneeded however, what tactics can be used?

I would of thought the benefit for us was to be at 60 yards, ohh wait, that isnt an aadvantage is it? They can shoot the same distance !!!! and quicker!!!!

Im sorry Alderon, i know you have put alot of time into this and testing alot of things, for that i say thank you, but this time, i think you got it wrong and are missing the point.

Any ranged profession if they are 3/3/3/3, no matter what it is, should be able to beat another ranged profession 0/0/1/0!!! As it stands at the moment, this is simply not the case!!

Its as simple as that!!!

Isn't the only pistoleer knockdown pistol whip? And doesn't that only work within 15m? What am I missing here?

Disarm shot is a knockdown too. They get it at the first tier of one of their branches, i believe. Furthermore at Master Pistoleer they get Disarm Shot 2 which is an AOE knockdown.

I think that they should grant knockdown immunity to targets that are laying prone. For one, it would add some usefulness to our startle shot during largescale PvP encounters, and encourage organization. Being flipped like a crabby patty doesn't make much sense-having one attack that is useful in all situations is a bad idea, to begin with, and their are plenty of disadvantages to being prone to begin with.

I agree with you, but dont mention this to Aldeon or he'll go off about how great his machine-gun AOE attacks are at Master Rifle and how anything under Master Rifle doesnt need to be balanced becuase (guess what?) were not Master Rifleman.

*sigh*

Is disarm supposed to be? I thought it was changed to damage a weapon?

Regardless, I've got novice pistoleer and novice rifleman, and actually have more pistol xp right now. Wow oh wow don't I just got with pistoleer... I think the only reason I haven't done that is because I want to go for master CH as well, and that would give me two of the most over used classes in the game.
