I am currently thinking about one of these :
Master rifles / master bounty hunter
Master rifles / master smugler
Master rifles / master pikes
Still not compleatly sure.., though most seem to think "commando or tkm" might be the best.., I never wanted to follow the bigest flow, and yet remain extreamly effective considering the situations..
Either way.., I still lack some information regarding these three choices...
I was hopeing that I could take this chance and ask someone who is deep within with knolodge on this to maybe point me out, mostely out of the blue the "pro's" and "con's" of either of these 3 choices.
My kind regards to all.

I am doing master rifles/master pistoleer. I think this combo makes sense because of the rooting and crowd control mixed with the high dmg output of rifleman.

I"ll more than likely not go mrm/tk? . I was originally going to go mrm/mcm, but now with the changes that i've read on the boards that are going to happen to cm i'm not so sure.
From the action that I have seen grinding to novice rm, the best choice would be almost any short to medium range secondary to go along with the rm profession. I'm debating on going mrm/mb .I don't want to go commando, just aobut everyone is commando/ something. Does anyone know ewhere that cookie cutter is stored?????
rifleman/pistoleer is a good one, as is rifleman/ tk? . (although those are kind of cliche) I might even atempt mrm/mr, i haven't decided.........mrm/msl hmmmmmmm. I do know that i need a good secondary.

Master Rifles
Master CH
Marksman 4xx4
Medic 4x3x (or as much as I can, depending on new pre-reqs)
Good all-round support role, though strong solo.
I'd _really_ like to try Ranger, really really really would, but Rifles or CH on their own are _fairly_ weak in comparison to some other classes.
Mind you, I've not played Rifles enough yet (so don't flame me!)
How are rifles as a solo combat prof?

I am gonna have to go with the triple master I think..
MRM/MC/MMark/Pistoleer0434.. 260 gen acc. and +50 gen. spd.
While it is a tad slower thatn the BH/commando dabble.. it is still a good versatile weapon loadout, range capabilities in many situations, and a spread of 9 different types of specials.. for on the fly configurements that can shift depending on the situation.
heh heh

remember to try the new professions with each respec every 12 hours... it will give you a feel for the different professions.

Yea, after some testing I am currently looking at
M/Marksman
M/Rifles
M/Pistoleer
Medic 0040
Scout 1000
The Root and Snare available keeps mobs at bay and rifles give good damage and speed with M/Marksman. The longer delay in using root has affected this slightly, but just before TC5 went down I was managing to solo level 77 non aggro lairs pretty easily at level 76 (still didnt have M/Rifles at this stage as I messed up respec!)
Needs some thought and planning of the action bar, you just cannot spam specials now, but I am definitely feeling much better about CU after my final testing

With the new level cert for weapons is there even a reason for going Rifleman/commando? Commando's don't have specials, they are attached to the weapons, so if we qualify to use a flame thrower at level 40 or whatever, won't all the flame thrower specials be available to us as well? We might not have the accuracy and speed of a master commando, but we can pick up a ton of general speed and accuracy from other profesions and be almost as good.
I know the Commando's are probably in an uproar about this new weapon cert thing, but how does it effect us? Are there going to be a bunch of pistoleers running around with our best rifles without having to have 1 box in rifles and be as effective as us? I guess I'm wondering if it is the Rifle that makes the Rifleman or is it the specials we can use and the roll we fill that make us riflemen/women?
The plasma flame thrower is a master commando cert and cannot be used by any other profession just as the T21 is a master rifleman cert. The PFT has good dot and AOE that commandos and even Starnick the commando correspondent is raving about in CU today. Go check out that forum.
As for me, Master Rifles, Master commando, pistols 00404 but not entirely as some are dropped for Jedi skills and the alternate is respec'ed from Master rifleman, fencer to Master Bounty Hunter, Carbineer, pistols 0404.

........just as the T21 is a master rifleman cert.
Ummmm, does that mean that I"m gonna be bufu'd? Considering I'm currently a Novie RM and am useing a T-21 rifle? Keep in mind that that's the best rifle that i have aside from the custom dlt-20a that a friendly weaponsmith made for me(as much as I likethat rifleI really don't want to go back to it).
I really would hate to have to put the T-21 away and try something less to grind master with. Oh, well, looks like the lost village time again. DAMN!!!!!
