Ummmm, does that mean that I"m gonna be bufu'd? Considering I'm currently a Novie RM and am useing a T-21 rifle? Keep in mind that that's the best rifle that i have aside from the custom dlt-20a that a friendly weaponsmith made for me(as much as I likethat rifleI really don't want to go back to it).

I really would hate to have to put the T-21 away and try something less to grind master with. Oh, well, looks like the lost village time again. DAMN!!!!!

I am sorry to inform you that yes the T-21 is a master only weapon

If you are a novice rifleman you will need a spray stick as your weapon of choice, once you have a few boxs you will be able to upgrade to the e11 and after that a multitude of choices.

... so long as that multitude is the Massassi Ink Rifle... or have they adjusted the weapon levels?

I am doing master rifles/master pistoleer. I think this combo makes sense because of the rooting and crowd control mixed with the high dmg output of rifleman.

Yea, after some testing I am currently looking at

M/Marksman

M/Rifles

M/Pistoleer

Medic 0040

Scout 1000

The Root and Snare available keeps mobs at bay and rifles give good damage and speed with M/Marksman. The longer delay in using root has affected this slightly, but just before TC5 went down I was managing to solo level 77 non aggro lairs pretty easily at level 76 (still didnt have M/Rifles at this stage as I messed up respec!)

Needs some thought and planning of the action bar, you just cannot spam specials now, but I am definitely feeling much better about CU after my final testing

I'm curious - what's the benefit of Medic 0-0-4-0? I'm more than happy to rely on (SP-free) stims if there are enough BE's producing them, whereas I find I just can't get by without the Terrain Negotiation of Scout 4-x-x-x... ("Run, Forrest!").

Looking at MRM/MBH/ 0004 Pistols for Root.

Also thinking about Smuggler with Rifles.

Always been a Rifleman, always will be, just not sure what to mix with it.

I am looking at Master Rifleman ? master BH (with some whatever)

or Master BH TKM (with some whatever.

I used to be a TKM master rifleman, but like an idiot i dropped master rifleman and dabbled in over proffs to see what their like, so now with my respec, i can only pick up one mastery and half of another.

So It will defiantly be BH, since master BH box require 340k Combat xp (how though im not sure, since cxp is capped at 300k)

Then i have to decide whther i want to keep some TKA skills and grind back upto master, or switch to rifleman and grind that to master.

No doubt i will be taking advantage of the next 2 weeks, and testing out both templates, before i finally decide.

Though i must say, the main thing keeping me attacthed to tkm is the meditation ability ( which i love so much), so i think rifles will win out in the end....

Actually apon logging in today, i was suprised..

T-21 is not a master cert, but a level 54? I think

DXR6-B is amster cert, along with the Spray stick?????

Mabye they missplaced a few 1's and 0's in the code, i dunno

On topic of the thread:

I'm going MR/MCH/BH 0/4/4/0

I've been going MR/MCH for a while now, the change in requirements with the CUnow gives me the option to add in BH basicly for free (I already have the pre-recs with rifles/CH).

i think I'm going to stick with this for now (even though CH is borked lol)

with 2 master rifleman/BH yesterday, we were rolling over jedi. root is essential I think for jedi though. Remeber to save it though, it has a long timer. use it only when your prey/target tries to run away.

I'll be taking TKA for the natural armor. I like my imperial uniform as it is. I would probably pick up something else if I find another fashion that suits my tastes and the Empire's.

I have tried a few profs since the CU already, and have decided on going Master Rifle, Master Marksman, Master CM, and have a few SPs to play with.

Craft, remember you don't get the natural armor bonus when you have a rifle equipped.

Feuer Frei(Aegis)

Tie Pilot - Storm Squadron

That is what I am planning to have. MBH+MRM + some pistoleer (intimidate shot + some more). Pistoleer has some fun specials

How are you able to do this. When I respecd this template, said I didn't have enough elite pts.

From the TKA Faq: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=teras_kasi_artist&message.id=98043

When is TIA active? Is it just like Toughness in the old system?

No it's not. TIA is active all the time. The only time it is not active is when you wear any armour. Below is what Blixtev has said on the subject.

Blixtev wrote:

Lets assume you are a Master TKA-Commando:

Master Commando gives you max certification for Advanced Assault armour.

Master TKA gives you their defensive built in mitigators.

If you put on your Assault Armour it automatically cancels out the TKA built in mitigators.

If you take off your Assault armour your TKA mitigators again go active.

If you are wearing armour you can still use TKA specials however the armour is where your protection is coming from not the TKA mitigators. Similarly you can have your armour off and pull out the Rocket launcher and the TKA mitigators are active.

The point being you can have one or the other, they just don’t stack. It is just like you are not allowed to put on 2 chest pieces.
