Thread: Enhanced Ranged Speed in Combat Prowess broken?

It almost seems like the non-master rifleman get the bonus, while the masters don't. It might be related to the mods creating an effective speed value of over 100, or it might just be that the players who "think" they're getting a bonus just aren't paying close enough attention.
In either case, I'd like to know if there's any way for Waste to direct this to the attention of the devs. Work thay correspondant magic.

Yea I would really like a confirmation if this is bugged or working as intended and if it is, what it does.

I trained Master combat prowess as my 4 free branches and I can say it is not broken. I am not master rifleman so maybe that has something to do with it, but I am positive I was shooting considerably faster and more accurate. I would bet 1,000 bucks it's working.

Ill take that bet, you have paypal? It definatley does not do a thing. I have 96 rifle speed if I dont use my armor that has an extra 2 to make +98. If I add the +2 armor, I fire one on top of the other, easiest to see without music buffs. The +12 doesnt even make up for a +2, NOT WORKING.

here's my new theory:
1. Enhanced Ranged Speed isNOT working.
2. Enhance Melee speed IS working. And not ONLY is it working for melee weapons such as swords and pikes, but it is ALSO working for RANGED weapons.
if you read carefully through these posts, you will see that the people that trained up in BOTH enhanced ranged AND melee speed are reporting improvements in their ranged speed.
i'd like to hear from people that trained up in melee speed only, if they have improvements in their ranged speed. i'd also like to know of the people that are experiencing improvements in ranged speed, do any of them NOT have the melee speed tree??

I have melee speed, but not ranged speed(+97 with clothes). I'll try some SS2s without the modded clothes tomorrow and see what happens.

Right now, it seems like there are two possibilities concerning the functionality of the enhanced range speed tree.
1) The speed bonus is only granted to non-masters, which implies that the bonus is bugged when the total ranged speed would effectively clear 100.
2) The bonus works only if the enhanced melee speed tree was also trained.
Either way, the tree is definately not working correctly, and should be directed to the devs' attention. I can't imagine how many players trained this as a free unlock to find it was bugged... but it can be made right with a simple hotfix.
