That stuff no longer stacks... that is what I heard anyway. And even if it did the very notion that a master rifleman would have to have a second class (which btw mine is master swordsman) in order to get off a shot in a pvp duel is laughable. It's broken dudes. If you don't hit first and your opponent has knockdown and knows how to macro in dizzy, you are screwed.

You are seeing more and more riflemen because of the 3 elite ranged professions its the best by far. You hit harder, faster and once the combat revamp is done youll be even better. Carbine is a joke of a profession thats just on life support due to a very abusable knockdown (if charge shot was removed today the entire class would be unplayable). Pistol is better but still doesnt give near the bang for the buck that rifle does for the points you spend.

There will be more and more rifle users until pistol and carbine gets some real attention.

Well in SWG its all about balance....and I can honestly say that there is absolutely no balance at the moment. Its all about being apart of the flava of the month, if someone see that it works then thats what they pursue. No one likes being owned in PvP and under certain circumstances your not even given a fighting chance in PvP. So if you spend most of your time on your back how can PvP be any fun? So your intial reaction is to ask yourself..."What can I do to be better?" so people pursue the best profession which is with out a doubt the Rifleman. In my opinion everything should be combat xp. Why? So that your forced to stick with the decision that you make upon choosing a profession rather than dropping the profession and regainingaMaster Title of a different profession 3 days later. People need to earn that Master Title and it should be something you should be proud of, Masters should be looked upon and respected because that individual has put in the time and effort to be what he is.

I know exactly what you guys are saying, i showed up to a PvP brawl yesterday at an imp base only to find 6 yes i said 6 master rifleman already fighting there.

not everyone has the same maximum speed....I for one ama ranger and can catch up with anyone burstrunning away =P

Hey Xytron, let me guess, you got kited one time too many and you are pissed. It just so happens the last got that kited you was a rifleman so now its time to build up thee "lets nerf riflemen" cause.

I would almost rather have rifleman the way it was 3 months ago when nobody bothered us, nobody even came here into our forums unless they were rifleman, and I guarantee that you will not find a post about nerfing us back then(other than the T21 issue, which is BS). I hate being FotM, I want us to suck again so all the FotM/Holo-whores leave. Umm, wait that was a little extreme, ok I don't want us to suck.

Sounds like TKA and fencer are your problem, not us. Maybe you should ask for the nerfed?

You aint gonna like it, it's the same reason your overpowered and everyone else in PVP is overpowered.

-Doctors buffs and food. Oh you just got a shiver down your spine because you know this BALANCE would hurt you too. I can get Buffs that give me 2K Health+ Action and never cost me any HAM when using a special. Normally with 1100 focus and 400 Stregth Quickness I can shot about 10 seconds and I'm screwed. Wich sounds like it's the correct way to be? Infinite Specials or Finite specials?

If we did not have infinite specials any weak pistoleer special could kill us, So maybe, just Maybe, you should be asking a nerf for the doctors and chefs.

You won't though, you use food and buffs too and are not objective enough to ask for balance.

Sure I get kited, I get kited by a SNIPER, ahem, a SNIPER....you guys don't see the problem in that? I'd say fine, leave your speedcap the way it is now if you were forced to be prone to use your specials....but hey, I caught up to the riflemen a couple times, and hit him with dizzy/kd for a whole 150 points of damage (he wasn't wearing armor either)...gald the devs really think that we should still be rewarded for being able to catch up to you guys, we have no benifet for even fighting any ranged user anymore now that the melee mods are gone, yet they get to pick us off like flies...this is just stupid.

No, buffs aren't the problem, since as you say everyone can use them....and you didn't really say why they were a problem, how could a non buffed pistoleer take down a non buffed riflemen? The non buffed riflemen uses adv strafe for 600 damage the non buffed pistoleer uses stopping shot for 200 damage, since it doesn't come down to who can get the most shots off, or who has the most accuracy (since neither of them will miss and they both shoot every 1 second) the riflemen will ALWAYS will in a one on one fight.

Then of coarse you can wear armor, to even lessen the 200 damage done to you, and you could use the jawa rifle and tear through the pistoleer if they're wearing armor...and 99% of the time pistoleers don't use the tangle pistol (since it sucks) so you're most likely to never see one used against you...

Don't listen to Xytroncore, he just sounds bitter from a recent battle.
