There is no /peace anymore. Just de-select your default attack. If the mobs looses agro on you, your peaced.

We are not, nor can we be Snipers. Ranges are to short and there are no one hit kills. We are a bit more Sniper-like, but we aren't Snipers. This game won't support true sniping.

It would be great in groups when there are more immediate concerns than where some shots are coming from...like the melee people right next to you. WE ARE NOW SNIPERS!

It's the Open Beta testing of the CU/R/B on TC5.

Can someone please confirm or deny this? I think this would be a great set up. Not only would it keep it realistic and not like WoW where the Rogue just kinda fades out of exsistance, but I also hunt with full camo and know it can be quite effective. (some times in deses parts of Yain if I zoom out max I can't even see my chr that well). This would also greatly promote realisum in the game and give people a chance to stop us. (desert combat might be a bit tough but it can be done just give us desert camo hats)

Nothing can be confirmed or denied right now. We still have to test it, provide any feedback, and then see if there are any changes to it.
From what the description says. It is suppose to remove you from radar. Certain things are suppose to break it. What exactly we don't know.
I know this is generating a lot of interest. As soon as we have something to share you can expect it will be. Just remember it could be changing though.

basically at this time we do not understand fully how it works. When we get to be rifleman on TC we should be able to deduce more.

I was really excited about this, but with the modifications to LOS, I think this skill will be useless in pvp, unless they take out the option to turn off radial flora. I'm running SWG with a lot of detail turned off and the terrain looks flat, there's no way you can't be spotted from 60m. If it worked, imagine the possibilites, a BH/rifleman would scare the $hit out of a paddy if he would sneak up to him
There's also some troubling data, at this time snipershot (and possibly concealshot) can only be fired when prone.

have you seen the new combat log?

How many of us have been in a large-scale PvP battle, inflicting massive amounts of damage on the opposition's Jedi(s) from the outskirts of the foray, only to see the entire group getting awfullyclose awfully fast. That's right, the Jedi decide to kill YOU because YOU are a rifleman dealing too much damage.
Enter the cover ability...
Jedi: Who is this rifleman that's doing all this damage? Where the crud is he? Blaster fire everywhere!
I CANT FIND HIM!!!!
Would really suck though if you could just check out the combat log and do a /target
Would kinda defeat the purpose.

Right, what I meant to question was if you could do a /target <player> on a player that is "under cover"
