Will willpower have any effect on regenerating mind used from specials or will it only effect mind damage?


Are you planning to implement anything that will make mind buffs as easy to aquire as other stat buffs?


Currently mind buffs are next to impossible to aquire unless you are a TKA due to afk entertainers.

Perhaps in the new imperial crackdown stormtroopers can shoot entertainers for not responding too their inquires.

1. With the loss of Ryshcate, fishak and glucouse pates will rifleman beable to fire more then 3 or 4 shots without losing all mind?

Question:


A master brawler has a range of 20 meters that is roughly 1/3 of a rifelmans range. Can we get any update on the range issue?

Just one question: Will rifleman ever be able to use our sniper tree and actually become invisible on radar, or perhaps EVERYONE be invisible on radar?

Ivon, I've asked around and I know that Diesoto was the only before 8/03/03 to Master it. I know I'm higher than 5th, but if you want to prove me wrong, give me a list of names and their date.


But I do know for a fact I was the first Bothan

Here is what I've got so far. Comments?


1. Will there in fact be a speed cap coming to Rifleman?


2. How do you percieve the Rifleman class? Is it purely a sniper, purely a gunner, or a mesh of both? If so why is it so unbalanced?


3. When are our weapon damage types going to get fixed? i.e. T21 (blast), Spray Stick (Acid), Tusken Rifle (Kinetic)


4. When will our Concealment IV title be changed, and what will it be changed to? Can we get our "Hunter" title changed to something a little bit more fitting, and something we don't have to share with another profession?


5. Why is the bowcaster less powerful than a laser rifle even though it was said in the description its deadly in the hands of a Wookiee (rifleman)?


6. What is the Dev's vision for Rifleman with the upcoming combat system overhaul?


7. Will Rifleman be getting new weapons in the up coming weapon balance?


8. When can we get more range? Turrets will now be firing at 80 meters, is not the platform there?


9. When will Rifleman ever be able to use our sniper tree and actually become invisible on radar?


10. Cover, Sneak, Block all seem to be broken and/or useless. What are the plans for these skills?


** BONUS QUESTION
11. Why do we have +40 (or so) at 60m with a laser rifle, and then -50 at 64m? Will ranage modifiers be reviewed in the new balances?

It may just be wishful thinking, but you could you manage to ask about the E-11 going (back?) to Heat damage? I might just use it then...


And along with the Cover/Sneak/Block issue, please address the specials like Startle and Surprise shots.

We would gladly concede this with the restriction of being under-cover (and therefore imobile or incredibly slow) or even if you just scrapped the radar for allprofs to make large PvP attacks much more fun and interesting.

/agree with the summation, nothing more to add, just a couple tweaks:


1. xaverrijade7 mentioned E11 damage type as heat, please edit #3 to include this.


2. your #10 refers to broken skills and the plans for them in the future for them, i also think a reason as to what the thought process was in creating them...which ties into #9 (invisibility) needs to be provided. Were sneak/cover meant to be used solely as PvE skill only? Isn't it time to re-vamp them due to increased demand on PvP skills?

Sidenote first: E-11's were never heat. The CARBINES were, but the rifles weren't (as far as I know).


I agree with Klaw's questions, but I gotta add a few


1) Melee are supposedly getting a way to "close the gap" on ranged classes, to prevent Kiting. This will be a passive bonus, requiring no activation (ie: running faster w/ melee weapon). Will we get a way to "keep the gap" that doesn't require skill points and isn't on a timer? Suppersion shot works, sometimes, but it takes 14 SP and is on a timer. I believe that it should be moved to ALL NOVICE ELITE classes (novice rifle/pistol/carbine) and have the timer removed/changed (3-6 secs?).


2) Is startle shot supposed to be crappier than Flushing shot? Same damage, same posture change, no stun??? A suggestion: lower the damage to 3x or 3.5x (for startle2) and change it to posture DOWN. Higher in tree = better skill no?.

Sorry to double post but had a brainstorm


3) What is the state of our melee penalty?? Many tests (see Selfyn/Silverlobo) have indicated you get hit LESS OFTEN with a rifle equiped than with vibroKnucklers or unarmed. We are supposed to be easier to hit by melee, right? Is this intentional or is it a bug? And what is the state of the 2.5x damage multiplier, as many rifleman (the higher level ones at least) are in favor of it being returned, in one form or another?
