Pecos , do you honestly believe every class should be able to solo easily? this is a multiplayer game , we rifleman have a role in combat if we group. This to me is the main problem with swg, It's full of soloist's and with that saidsoloist's mentality they flock to the boards and whine whine whine, I'm sorry but it just gets so old.

Why are you guys worried about pistoleers when a couple other classes can kill you in one shot now?

playing??? Either u r a Master or a newb....because

if you have been playing this game long enough as

a sharpshooter u should already know that in a group

u r likely a one that will get the least XPs....i.e. the pistoleers

and brawlers will normally get about 3K a kill on Nyms and u get 1K...

thats a 3:1 ratio dude...so in odertolevel u need to solo...

so don't act like u know everything...

I don't need to call names or strike you down in any way D ,I am a rifleman with 2/0/4/2 thats not a master at all. I don't know everything , but I do post on things I DO know about. You think in a group your job is to get the most exp? that's where your wrong! If you play this game only for advancement of your profession your going to hit a wall sooner or later.

In a group in pvp for example , if the snipers are told to take out a target it's a good as done when we work together, thats how I think of things. Now in PvE if I am with friends , which I normally am I am not concerned about getting More exp than them. It seems to me were playing two different games.

You people all need truck loads of Phencanine(sic) Darts =D.

Myumi, I respect the fact that you can have your own opinion, but I seriously disagree with it. In an above post you said that not all classes should be able to solo easily. If you mean that rifleman shouldn't be able to solo easily, that to me is idiodic. Why should a combat class not be able to solo well? That eliminates the purpose of a combat class which is to do well in combat. You then suggest that rifleman should join groups. Unless you're in a group of other rifleman, rifleman really don't help in groups. Why would they? They do mind attacks (attacks that only swordsman,tkas and rifleman can do),and they attack slowly. SOE is seriously messing up this class...

Get a CL15 pet, it will keep the creature in the same spot long enough. But In PvP, yes, novice rifleman are screwed. Unless they use a Spray stick, or really fast DLT.

BTW, if you notice in that thread the NPC was knocked down. The poster said he does on average about 4-6k damage. Using styles, now what you do is look at the max range there styles have. Its 16m, pretty hard to get to 16meters unless you are buffed, and have a good CM with you. Then you look at there styles, they have a 15 second timer on it, you can only use it once every 15 seconds.

Yes it is a one shot, but we can one shot people more then every 15 seconds. One of the novice rifleman in my guild, uses a laser rifle, and he does around 500-1300 damage. His Rifle has more damage then mine, so can nearly meet the damage of mine with strafe shot 2. I cant use his, becuase it would costs me nearly 200 per shot, and I will run out of mind very fast.

Wow thats great that u r not a master and perfectly comfortable

with the class (no sarcasm). I guess we do have different

prioritites. I luv doing missions with ma friends, its really fun.

But i also do have goals, and one of them is to reach master rifle level.

Otherwise I would nottag myself as a Sniper and used the other

tags like the Scouts titles or Novice CH.

If your goalsare different then so be it....

Also...your statements of...

Look again what I what I said , yes you quoted me directly and correctly, but the only way you could be offended is if you fit the profile and IF that's the case there is zero point in talking to you as I can learn nothing.

Does that even still work? Someone else has a post around here saying they tried the old Conceal Shot trick 7 times last night and each time the mob warped on top of them and killed them when it got low on health.
