You miss the point. XP isn't just a race, it's a reflection of how much damage you're doing. If I get 4000 XP and you get 1000 XP from the same kill, I did 4x as much damage as you.
When riflemen consistantly get less XP in a group, it's because they're consistantly doing the least amount of damage, in which case the group would be better off with a different combat class. It's not like mind damage is remotely useful in a group PvE setting. When the Kimo dies due to health loss and he's at half mind, that means all your mind shots were wasted and the group would have performed just as well without you.
I didn't miss the point , because that wasn't his point it's what you thought he meant. And while were on the topic you do realize our two bleeds that stack don't give us exp? that's alot of damage and in some cases alot more than most riflemen are doing with headshots. I do see your point but it has holes as well, As for krayts I went out with a group of about 18 last night , two of use were riflemen. Both of us kept launching bleeds till we got what we though would be our highest, fight was going fine for about 1 minute then it ran around starting to incap us, when it finally fell it was due to the riflemens damage as the krayt's health was still 75% full and mind was empty.
People whine about our damage but I am pretty happy with my laser rifle , sliced and powered up. My server has never gotten t21's so I have no right to even comment on thier damage prenerf or after. Peco's I appreciate your comment but I really do believe I do enough damage with my current weapon as a rifleman.
well i did this to get to my last combat exp tier and it worked great .. buy a corwardly gurreck go to talus and get 2 tortur missions it has to be torturs so when you get there send your pet on the lair so all the torturs aggro your pet then you target the lair too and do startle shot 2 with a laser or t21 and the torturs will all die in about 3 shots and startle doesnt waste a lot of mind. you do need to get master countersniping though but i think getting master countersniping is better than getting sniping first
