Thread: Eyeshot vs headshot2 = pathetic
It should be possible to hit over 800 damage using HS3 with a pre nerf T21 with a max damage powerup. I'm not sure what effect AP has on resist since the info we were given seems to beshi....umm wrong.
If you take a pre nerf T21, this weapon couldhave over 700 max damage, when you factor in a 2x AP advantage with no resist you can hit for 4921 in PvE resulting in a 1230 hit in PvP. This is using Hs3 with the damage multiplier being 3.
If the resist formula we were given is correct (I have my doubts) then an AP3 weapon on AP1 reduces the resist of the target by 50% and then 50% again. So you would still be getting hit for 1079 (I think
).
However this does not reflect the true damage of a rifleman since pre nerf T21s are not that common, even post nerf T21s are not available on a lot of servers.
While I agree headshot 2 should not be beating eyeshot, headshot 3 should be. Where as currently HS2 is better than HS3 under a lot of circumstances due to the amount of mind damage HS3 inflicts on the user.

Were you buffed? Spiced? Power up in the weapon?
I know I am when I PvP, I like to go in prepared.
Next time get some friends. You'll see how fast a BH goes down.

Its hilarious, with just a little strategy, you can defeat practically everyone. Oh wait, that would require actual thinking.

Most Riflemen can't find/afford 11 identical Krayts.
I am not saying that the Bounty Hunter in question USED Krayts. I am saying that they are becoming more popular, and as long as Pistols only take 1 or 2 (which you can get from almost any type of Krayt) and Rifles take 8-11 (which, for the T-21, you can ONLY get from an Ancient Krayt) for the SAME LEVEL OF UPGRADE. . . well. . .

The main problem with Eye shot is it has 2 functions. It blinds you (which means the odds of you hitting him back are slim to none) and then using a pistol speed it will take your mind down in just a few sec's.
I'm a Master CH and Master Rifleman and I have had a BH kill me and my pets all because we could not hit him back once he gets the 1st shot off. He takes the mind down on me and 2 pets while we just keep missing him because of the blind. Even if I do get one bleed shot on him, (Which I have done) he will still get that one Eye shot off and after that it is all over. BTW I have 1100 mind
it probably was SS2 and just happen to hit the mind pool, very lucky shot

Exactly. But then, they would get scared of the potential again. It's just not 'balanced' that pistols can get a larger %increase in their max damage output using less rare tissues than a rifle can - Before slicing and powering up.
It's not all pistols, from what I've heard from pistoleers, the DX2 (I think, it's early here) takes 4 krayt tissue, while the FWG5 only takes 1. However as the FWG5 is only AP0 it's not such a big deal for me, the scatter being AP1 with stats like that IS a big deal.
I still think they should change it onto a percentage based upgrade instead of a flat +30 - +100. T21s need to be easier to craft full stop, paying more for a T21 than a rocket launcher is just wrong.

Move eyeshot from bounty pistol 2 to Master Rifleman. ![]()
